People that haven't played the game probably. Can't remember any hair pulls being filmed or reported in the past so I wonder what has caused this recent trend? Its not the actual hair pull it's calling it violent conduct and making it worthy of a straight red.

Problem is, there’s nothing stopping clubs telling their players to grow their hair as long as possible to take advantage of this idiocy of a rule.
That, as I recall was basically pulling a ponytail to drag someone back when they were running through. Vastly different to what is being given in the men’s game.
