Ballard

i've only just seen the replay as was at the match. it's next to nowt and quite clear and obvious it wasn't intentional imo. not that it matters but i don't think ballard is that sort of player.
perhaps they should also look at their defender trying to give brobbey a wedgie as well when he would've been clear or british bulldog against talbi when he was through. both of those got missed but are foul play.
the officials were absolute dogshite again. not sure but i can't recall any of their players were carded.

Watched it a few more times and its just making me angry. Mad that there's no rule for objective discretion in this law, yes he caught his hair whilst grabbing his shirt, so that's not deliberate hair pulling and I think a stronger ref looks at that and says 'nah, Im not sending him off for that, it was consequential rather that intentional'.

If that warrants a red card, then I'd be sending the lads out with clip on ponytails next week. You'd get a man sent off every game if we start going down this road.

That ref was utter shite yesterday. Wolves players just getting cautioned while the likes of Cirkin gets a yellow for just slipping over.

Defo not a sending off, no wonder Xhaka was pissed as hell. Club needs to quickly appeal it and then demand a rule change which states all players with dreadlocks or long hair must have it tied up if the '''rule''' is to be enforced correctly because as it stands now its just enticing deliberate sendings off.

Glad we won’t see him again this season. Probably cost us top half football. Sick to death of players grappling each other etc anyway, needs clamping down on.

Absolutely unbelievable season for him. What a player. Unlucky Dan, fresh and go again next season.
According to some on here he’s trying to grab his shirt, what part of his shirt is halfway up his heed man

Theres this mad concept that hair can be long enough to drape down onto the shoulders away from the head. I know its wishful thinking for you, baldy

You might not see him next season, such is the high esteem he is held in. Liverpool need a younger player in central defence. Will you be glad then ?

Reminded me of the Everton v Whu penalty decision. "Not a hand ball as he was grappling him from behind". In the box? Isn't that a penalty?
Dan had hold of his shirt when challenging for a header, like 95% of defenders do. The fact the forward has long hair means he got a piece, not intentionally I believe.

Hasn't he just signed a new deal and committed ?

His mam and dad have just relocated to the north east to be closer to him and their grandson so I doubt he would go now.
