If Leeds lose or draw tonight


The confusion on this thread centres on the inability to understand that two teams playing each other can't both get 3 points from their match!
Yes, it would have been mathematical if Leeds hadn't won. Now that they have, let's put this to bed by getting at least a draw today.

They can. But if they do leeds can get less points.

Spurs win all 4 they get 46
West ham need to win 3 and draw 1 to get to 46.

They both play leeds who therefore, if both those things happen, can get a maximum of 7 more. Which takes them to 50.

I think thats right.

If West Ham win they’ll have 39
If forest win they’ll go above them
If spurs win 37

The next week
Mags on 42 and lose
Spurs win - 40
West Ham win - 42 above mags on Gd

Next week
Mags 42 and lose
Spurs win 43
West Ham - 45

That scenario puts them 3rd bottom going into the final day?

Anyway, they’ll beat Brighton today and that’ll be the end of it! 🤣

They could beat Brighton today and still go down final day. They won't, but they could.

Palace win one against Bournemouth, Everton, Brentford, Man City or Arsenal = 46

Leeds lose to Spurs and West Ham, and beat Brighton =46

Forest beat mags and pick up four points vs Chelsea, Man U and Bournemouth = 46

West Ham beat Arsenal, Mags and Leeds = 45

Spurs beat Villa, Leeds, Chelsea and Everton = 46.

Current goal difference: mags -2, West Ham -19

Mags down with a large goal swing…..
