SAFC - Fan Ban & Ticket Cancellations

Absolute huge own goal if it’s true about BLF, it’s clear from the clubs social media that their priority is all about international fans , global reach, fans who have no connection to the area etc, the strategy is clear and it has nothing to do with the fans who have stuck by this club for years, it’s gonna bite them on the arse that’s for sure , bring on wolves away and fk that new CEO
To be honest if this is true, then fuck the lot of them.

The club was here before them and will be here when they have gone.

Somethings are worth more than money

I really hope this isn’t true. I’ve tried to give the club the benefit of the doubt with a lot of the ticketing stuff, far more than they deserve.

But if this is true someone should be sacked. This isn’t even about money if the foundation were willing to pay. Through either pure ignorance or arrogance they’ve assumed they wouldn’t pay and sold it without checking.

Club are only interested in how much revenue they can make now and they don’t give a fuck who they upset in the process. Wankers.
Worst thing is it sounds like the foundation were in a position to fund it themselves but were never given the opportunity. So either the club have thought it’s their box they can do what they like with it or just assumed the foundation couldn’t afford it!

I've just read the BLF link above, regarding the box...IF the club have cashed in and sold it, someone really does want sacking. It was for the benefit of terminally ill people FFS! Who TF could make such a disgusting and upsetting decision? The media - quite rightly in my view - will have a field day. I'm desperately hoping it's not true but am fearing the worst...

Where is the link? 🤔

The facility had been used to host disadvantaged families, providing matchday experiences that would otherwise have been out of reach. Over time, it became a central part of the foundation’s supporting children and families facing serious illness. Under revised arrangements, Sunderland will continue to offer hospitality access to the Bradley Lowery Foundation in a different format. This will include a table of 10 for six fixtures across the season in the Montgomery Suite, allowing the charity to host up to 12 families.

The club has also offered two additional games for smaller groups of four, in the Boardroom or the Charlie Hurley Suite, providing a quieter setting for more vulnerable children. The Echo understands that while the executive box arrangement has come to an end, Sunderland have indicated they will continue to support the foundation in other ways where possible. Gemma Lowery, Bradley’s mother and co-founder of the charity, said the change marked the end of an era but welcomed the club’s ongoing backing when contacted by The Echo.

“It is sad to see the box go, as it really does mark the end of an era in Bradley’s name,” she said. “That said, I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Sunderland for continuing to support us in other ways. I’m really pleased that we can still offer a hospitality experience to families because over the years, it has been so special to see who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity enjoy such an amazing day.”

It's really disappointing they've changed it at all but the end of the article suggests they're still supporting the family and the family are happy with it.
