How much we got to spend next year?

We don’t need to sell any of our main players so why would we if we are aiming higher again next season as we surely will be.
Fringe players will likely go for fairly modest fees but it frees up wages. Add in income from PL which could be £150m ish and could bring in 2-3 top class first team ready players and 2-3 young players with potential without selling any of current starting 11.
That’s not to say we won’t sell if we get an offer that is crazy money and too good to turn down but we won’t be selling anyone on the cheap.
Whatever happens l have no doubt there are plans to deal with a few different scenarios that may or may not play out over the summer.
I expect us to have a stronger squad particularly greater strength in depth come the start of next season.

I reckon 3 or 4 will go for £130m combined and we'll spend that and another £50m.....  madness
Roefs, Sadiki, Brobbey, Wilson will go, maybe a few others

The only reason why you sell players is because they aren’t good enough. I take it then that in your opinion have they not.

Great plan Sherlock. Sell our best players the moment they arrive and start with a totally new squad every season. No wonder we are a laughing stock!

I suggest that because we feel sad and I’m called stupid among other offensive names, yet someone can suggest selling our 3-4 best players and they are right.

Who's to say our better players might just want to stay for another season??

Why stay when you aren’t wanted? We love Brobbey yet are quick to cash in on him the moment the chance of a quick buck arises.

They stay and somehow become good players and again we end up in a mid table position, we sell all of our best players but are unable to buy any of our targets we need to replace players like Sadiki, Diarra, Ballard, O’Nien, Alderete, Reinildo and others and we end up going down. In your opinion which is the best option?

I can definitely see one or two of our better players go.

I actually have a bad feeling that one of them will be Le Fee. I think hed be great at a top club that doesnt rely on being solid and can be more open.

I think the next few seasons we will spend what we bring in, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. But we wont have a big net spend for a long time.

So, Roefs and Le Fee out for 70-90 million and i thin we reinvest most of that.
I can't see Le Fee or Roefs going for as little as that it would take that much to replace one of them double it and Le Bris might give the go ahead. ;)

I cant see us sellking all of our forward options. Mayenda might go out on loan. Hopefully we keep Brobbey

I think we may lose one of Diarra or Sadiki, and there will be decent interest in out centre backs. Hopefully we manage to keep ahold of them as when theyre fully fit we have a strong back line.

Roefs is also attracting interest, if he gets the nod at the world cup i can see him being targeted by a few clubs
Roefs is nowhere near as special as he is being made out to be on the back of 20 decent games at the start of his Premier League career. Looked to dominate his 6 yard box the first few months but now stuck on his line.

As for Diarra and Sadiki, neither has a goal in them. Could both go for me. Xhaka, Le Fee plus a box to box midfielder who can score goals I hope.

Keep seeing this being mentioned on here but who’s actually confirmed this?

Agree. Roefs is good but fuck me some of the valuations getting thrown about on here are insane

Same for Sadiki. 80 million figure being touted 😂😂

Ghisolfi said it.

He also said, the offer and the player himself would be determining factors, but overall, we don't actually need to sell.
They’re hardly going to come out and say we need to though

We can’t keep spending what we spent without selling players

The clip of this.

Why not, it would be easier for Gisholfi to play down expectations that way. Use PSR like the richest club in the world constantly do. I think he's probably right in what he's saying tbh.

It's not like we overstretched last summer, but we made a big investment on pretty much a new team of players last summer. That just needs tweaking now, not another influx of 10/15.

Theres fringe players like Wilson, Adingra, Seelt, possibly even Mundle that could bring in around 30/40m. Add a first team player sale if the offer is too big to turn down, and then we're buying players just off the back of the money that's been made off outgoings.

We've spent relatively little the past few years, which has put us in the position we're in now. I don't think we're skint or are actively needing to sell tbh.

Sell them all. I'd rather have the cash in The bank tbh

The plan has always been to sell when it is right for both the club and the player. We should not stand in the way of players bettering themselves, and we will re-invest the proceeds of their sales wisely I am sure. Bids will have to meet our valuations, and I'm sure Monsieur G will have a target in sight for any position we need to strengthen.
Having said that, I don't see the need to sell anyone in this window, except some fringe players who need to move on. Maybe if Wilson scores against Brazil or the Jocks at the WC this summer, especially using electric pace or a worldy volley, he will go for good money... but it will still have to be his own choice.

Sadiki is very mobile, tenacious and technically sound. Unfortunately though, like you suggest, he falls to pieces around the box like a jigsaw.

I still think he's a good player for the level but overrated by some on here.

I reckon it'll be about 60-70m. SCR could allow more but then we are really eating into our budget from future seasons and that just doesn't seem sensible or necessary.

If we sell it could be more. I'm fairly sure we'll sell Adingra and Isidor for about 10-15m each. Adingra has done alright at Monaco so far and transfermrkt seems to think he is back to the value we paid for him (20m quid). Isidor will has managed five EPL goals in the limited minutes which very decent.

I only see one or two big sales at most. I don't think there will be quite the clamor we think there is/should be. We've not had loads of stand-out performances from the younger group which would catch the eye of the big clubs.

Ghisolfi has all his scouts on red alert scouring the World for top notch bargains.Europe here we come on 50 million.
