This Billy Big Balls stuff blew up in the Mags face. Coventry could well be in the mix next season, let’s be humble. It will be a shame to sell him but Premier League rules don't allow you to own one club and play for another.
How can we get around him owning Coventry City now they are promoted?
I've actually pissed myself. But that says nowt .Op is confusing the metaphorical 'owning' that Ballard enacted in our last game against Coventry with Premier League rules regarding club ownership. It is extremely amusing.
I had to read it twice before I got it like.Everyone showing how thick they actually are in this thread![]()

Doug King an old boss of a boss not well liked and not that bright all I can say thou a different Doug King but given I dislike Coventry another reason to dislike themCoventry City Football Club is owned by Doug King.
- He is a British businessman who took full control of the club in January 2023, buying out the previous owners (SISU Capital).
- He is now the majority owner and chairman, with significant control (around 75%+ ownership through his company).
- King has overseen major changes, including stabilising finances and even helping the club buy its own stadium in 2025.
