Good morning @thamesvalleyman I never usually open the Echo website but did just now to read the article, it should certainly attract more donations. I noticed an anonymous £250 just added and decent additions from Seamus Coleman and David Unsworth (no ex SAFC though???). Anyway great effort and keep up the good work.

Seamus Coleman is a family friend of the Everton lad and that's kind of him to donate. The David Unsworth you saw is in fact one of the Manila Mackems who shares the same name as the former Everton player. One of the other Manila Mackems is a chap called Dan Neil so if you see that name then it may or may not be our ex midfielder.

Was out training again earlier, not too far, around 22 miles, but a longer ride planned for tomorrow. Watched Chelsea v Leeds earlier, thought it was pretty comfortable for Chelsea tbh.

Had a good chat with @sismanhatton with an idea I'm working on for my bike ride, thanks for your help marra.

No beer or football for me on Monday.

Back from Northumberland and reality, returning to work tomorrow where I will doubtless hear all about Middlesbrough's five star performance against Watford in all its glory and I'm sure our heavy defeat to forest on Friday will be mentioned in dispatches too.

Seriously though been great to stop, chill and have some precious family time with Mrs C and the dog. It's fantastic to be amongst nature, saw two wild bunny rabbits while taking the pooch out for her bedtime walk last night. Made a slight detour on the way home and visited Bamburgh for a stroll along the beach and more ice cream. Could get used to this....
