Let's see how wolves goes

Not confident of his chances against Wolves. If he loses, which is a distinct possibility, he may be on a thinner tightrope. Questions are going to be asked. All the horrible, shocking and upsetting things I dread most about losing a game came true last night. I don’t ever want to go through this again. If it means removing the coach so we can improve then so be it.

For now I’m on his side but chances are fast running out.

I’m behind Regis

We’ve been here before seeing that a manager has taken us as far as he can. Charlton were in the same position with Curbishley. The amount of clubs that have said the manager has taken the most far as they can unless the club’s ownership knows something we don’t I think we stick with them.

I was furious with him when we went on that awful run pre play off a last season.

And wanted him gone.

Shows what I know 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I do wonder though if the current ownership would “upgrade on him” if the chance arises.

For me It would be an absolute disgrace if the club sacked him. He has done an exceptional job and deserves to take us into our second season as a PL team.

Yes. I hope last night was a freak result.

There's not much the manager can do about a strange OG and the GK gifting a goal away.

We fell apart after that but the two key moments which decided the match was nothing to do with RLB. Even before then we had a good chance with Rigg, score that and different again.

I think he’s done a cracking job so far. Promotion and then staying up comfortably were both beyond expectations at the time.

We have a young owner, a pretty young manager and a young squad in the main.

Everyone needs to grow and develop together. Hopefully they all will continue to do so. Mistakes made? Absolutely at times but that’s part of learning unless you’re a ninny who keeps making the same mistakes over and over again.

Last neet was shite but I’m still in the RLB camp.

I’d like to see a Venn diagram of those who aren’t and those who were against him from the off because he’d taken Lorient down after having his four best players sold off by the club and not replaced even though they’d nivver previously heard of the feller. It all smacks of a desperation to prove they were right all along imho.

If Kyril does decide to make a change it doesn’t change the fact that Regis did an excellent job and will be looked at fondly by the fans.

The thing is we can be behind him all we want and post about it on here it means nowt it meant nowt to Charlton fans the end of the day it’s down to owners. If kld thinks he can get better then he will he has shown he doesn’t really care what anyone thinks. It’s the same for all owners and boards fan noise only means so much they do what they want at the end of the day.

I said when it was rumoured the club were looking at replacing him it would be extremely harsh on the bloke but they’ve shown how ruthless they are with the behind the scenes stuff.
