Disallowed goal...

Same ref who gave Fulham a free kick that led to their goal when their bench started moaning and waving their arms earlier in the season.
He's a poor ref like. Wasn't there a foul on Sadiki first half which ended up with him imjured? He waved stuff away that seemed obvious to me. Cowardly but these refs are emasculated by VAR.

You think if a keeper slid into a player, and stopped him from shooting, without winning the ball that it wouldn’t be a penalty?
But Nordi did win the ball.

If the keeper got to the ball first then the player collision happened after, then no penalty would be given.

Nordi played the ball.

I don’t think we are going to agree on this.

Watching it live, I didn’t think it was a foul. Watching the replay, it was obvious that the keeper was impeded imho.

The slight touch didn't affect the way the GK was already pushing off his feet to save the ball. Poor decision for me. Just because it's contact doesn't mean it's causing an obstruction.
He was already diving, I have no idea why the pundits were going on about Sels not being able to plant his foot, he was clearly in the air.
However, VAR has been quite good for us. I will take this one very dodgy decision.

What was Mukiele supposed to do after crossing that ball ? Criminal decision, embarrassing in fact.
Was literally one of the worst decisions of all time.....what was it actually for? It wasn't a foul on the keeper, Nordi got there first and got a brilliant cross in to his team mate....if anything it was a foul on him by the keeper.

Wasn't a foul like, keeper was already on the way up so had no pressure through the leg that was brushed by NM. Didn't impact his movement at all.

Hate VAR. I know it has been good to us, but I'd gladly see it entirely binned off forever.
It’s the slow motion stuff that annoys me, just play it real time if you can’t see it clearly in real time, carry on.
Offside is even worse, although, I think we have gained points with that too. Possibly evens itself out. But it needs a massive overhaul or binning.

Driving back after the game last night the two presenters on Talksport were discussing it. Both agreed it was a farcical decision as it took so long to arrive at it. VAR was brought in for clear and obvious errors. It isn’t being used in this way.

The ref took so long at it he wasn't convinced but they never stick with their decisions and throw their mate under the bus.

A conversation that should also take place is should we really have linesman making the decisions on var

I was honestly tempted to go down and smash the VAR TV in when the ref went trotting over. If it takes 5 minutes to make a decision then it's obviously not clear and obvious - absolute piss take. At least it didn't cost us anything.

Made no difference to the outcome. As poor the decision was (imo) it's the least of our problems...

If Nordi had kept his feet down I think it would have stood. It was the lifting his feet up to continue contact with the keeper that makes it bad and is probably a foul.
It looked odd in real time and summed up the shite night.
I’d rather these things “even out” in a game that’s already gone if we can nick one in a tight game.
