Fans today

Some were absolutely horrendous, a bit like the performance to be fair. My mate had to come down at halftime to cool down, some absolute whopper was going off it mukiele and others were joining in, arguing amongst each other who had had a season ticket for the longest. People around me in the west stand were absolute helmets.
Lad behind me was slagging off RGB from the minute the first goal went in. I eventually turned round late in the second half and called him out and he was pretty embarrassed.
I felt a bit shit so shook his hand and told him that at least he hadn't fucked off like the other fickle bastards.

I dont normally criticise fans for leaving early like but today was a bit much. Those who remained did a cracking job - the hardcore.
They deserved an empty stadium at HT.

Wouldn’t criticise anyone who’d paid good money for not wanting to endure that shite.

By all means I’ve been critical in the past, especially after the Fulham game but nah, not going to have a go at anyone for leaving yesterday. Totally unacceptable to be 4-0 down after 35 minutes at home to any opponent.

It was only our temporary seat for last night's game but definitely couldn't sit there long term. Everything was offside even throw ins. Regis this Regis that, diarra. And some old women in front of us was slagging off the forest coach, something about his Portuguese wife or some shit, cringey

Yep, there's definitely a difference between a "fan" and a "supporter".
It's nice having a lot of fans but much better to have a lot of supporters.

It was very odd when the Forest fans were singing is this a library when the atmosphere had been excellent from our fans.

They then sang you've only come to the Forest, which was odd.

It was

Just shame it was 75% anti mag songs
if you can't enjoy doing the double over them this season, when they were predicting an easy ride, when can you?
They're still seething, partly evidenced by the piss-poor mag trolling on here.

Tourists, petulant customers… not supporters.
Second half proper fans made us proud
Three German lads in SAFC merch near us, who were fanboying Xhaka, were loud all the way through, joined in and supported til the end, good to see considering the ‘SAFC til we’re pumped' mob who pissed off.

The likes of Xhaka and Nordi could play any where for more money than they get here.
They want to be part of something…. We are in it together good days and bad days and he does right to remind ‘some’ fans of that.
Agreed, how many more chances of PL stability? How often will this current set-up happen in our life-time, if this one goes pear shaped?

I'm sure we’ll be forever constantly fighting off with a shitty stick influential Xhaka-level players, who have the rep and charisma to influence others to come to the north east of England.
I'm sure there’s plenty more to fill his boots in the future...?

They're worth supporting, there's always bumps in the road...

I’ll never understand booing your own team. I get the frustration at HT but its not helpful and goes against the relationship we’ve built up with these players over this season. Last night was a difficult moment and the players needed support not roundly booing. They’ve done enough this season to earn that. It shouldn’t go out the window after 30 mins of madness.

Thankfully the boos turned into applause as the lads were walking off and I thought the fans played their part second half in trying to help the lads get back in the game.

Chalk it up as a bad night, put it in the bin and move on. They’ll show a reaction at Wolves - they always do.

I would never boo our own players but found it a bit odd than some people were applauding them at half time.

When did you leave?

Absolutely 💯 nothing to do with you.
Whoever you are.

In life, in general, id dscuss none of my decisions or choices with a complete stranger like you as your irrelevant.

However unbelievably you think when it comes to what people's matchday routines are you should have an opinion

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Good response 2nd half from those who stayed. Will never understand people leaving at half time. This team has given everything this season, at least give them a chance and a bit of encouragement.
can’t imagine what their life is like if they’re that emotional/ reactive and fly off the handle every little slight.

It’s sport - over the course of 40+ games, you’re likely to have bad days. Exactly why it’s a league format and not some mad straight knockout competition (and why the FA Cup is great, cos it is a straight knockout)
