Maybe a master stroke by Le Bris . Sunderland have always had to have a “scapegoat” & maybe taking Rigg out of the firing line for a short while isn’t a bad thing .
 
I left the pub at half time to go and eat. I was really surprised when I looked later to see he’d been taken off. Without going down the conspiracy theory route I wondered if something was said in the dressing room as he was nowhere near the worst player.
 
Too lightweight but not exactly his fault. Our manager should have seen this coming and he made an enormous fuck up.

He’s no way good enough at this level l. He gets caught out countless times when defending. So overrated it’s laughable
 
Seemed like an obvious change of formation… I suppose he could have hooked Diarra instead but it’s no big deal. Crowd could have turned nasty in 2nd half too if we had continued shipping goals and probably best if the youngest member of our squad isn’t potentially subjected to that.

He’s proven over the last half a dozen games since having a proper run that yes, he is.
He’s 18 ffs and I think the club are managing his development brilliantly.

I don’t understand why fans like you always turn on our home grown talent and slag them off. It’s just pathetic.

So he shouldn’t be playing then? His age is irrelevant. At what age are you saying he will be good enough. For the record he wasn’t the worst player last night (first half) but I stand by my post he isn’t good enough.

Well …..I suggest you watch the last 10 minutes of probably our most important victory of the season so far v the Mags-just gave a look at the young lads energy and winning of the ball ehen many are dead on their feet
