The blind pass

Thought this was bout Stevie wonders bus pass
It can be can someone add Steve’s bus pass to thread title ? Mods
All about "breaking the press", it's bollocks imo. We'd be better off doing what we did in the second half, get it up there and win the second balls.
I get the attempt to play through the high press but I don’t think we have the quality there to do it other than maybe Xhaka who dare I say it has also been guilty of it,

What is it with the blind pass into midfield. I don’t feel like I see many sides attempt it as much as us and fail, this creates a turn over and we are instantly on the back foot. Is this being coached or do we feel we are good enough to play these types of blind passes which to me are high risk low reward.

Been saying a while, a team playing long ball 4-4-2 with a load of absolute monsters will win the league in the next few years

I think it's fairly obvious they did their homework on how we play out from the back and their pressing and energy levels were incredible tonight.

What's frustrating is to not react after the first once or twice when it doesn't come off.
The second goal was a prime example. No pass is on so just play it up to Brobbey. Instead we try to fuck about and concede.

I haven't watched it back but I'm sure i will at some point. From memory the pass to Xhaka was on, but like so many times recently Roefs slowed it down too much, took an extra touch on to his weaker foot and tried to to play a pass practically through Woods.

Wasn't just him, half the team wanted extra touches all over instead of moving the ball quickly. They hit us with direct, fast, counter attacking football and ripped us to shreds.

It was sort of on but it wasn't at the same time. They had everything covered if Xhaka did get it so the pass was pointless.
