If we are to take the positives from tonight

I was coming up to see this till it was brought forward and couldn’t come so watched it in a pub in Norwich, the other tv had Leicester v Millwall on with vast gaps in the crowd. Which would you prefer?

Xhaka was very good in the second half and I thought that Mukiele did well to sort himself out. Ballard was good throughout.

Nearly a decade out of the top flight, written off by 95% before a ball was kicked and comfortably dealt with the season.

Some horrendous results in the last 2 months but I can't manage to make myself that angry. There was genuine thoughts that we would never see the Premier league again at the darkest times in league 1.

Even in the Championship, the gulf between the parachute clubs and the rest, given how we were run on a budget made it feel insurmountable.

Given where we were and where we are, I can't right now consider us an embarassment.
I can easily make myself that ‘angry’ purely because I care but this isn’t against a good side, it’s against a relegation side. We’ve obviously got too confident and made a **** of it because we are f***ing shite, ability or even deliberately but what in the name of Christ was that?

Mick McCarthy’s side was far more dedicated than that shite.

Mick McCarthy's side got 15 points.
