Race For Europe

Convenient that you dodged all of the European teams and only mentioned the Premier League ones. You aren’t fooling me for a second!

No mention of clubs like Beshiktas, Shaktar Donetsk, Partisan Belgrade and Lille.
That’s because they’ve went past all of those teams. At the minute they’ve went past all of those foreign sides. Because they’re not as good as you think they are.

Take it one game at a time. Beat Forest on Friday and looking at the other teams games that should put us 8th.

We’ll then have an away game at already relegated Wolves to put us right back in the European qualifying picture before facing three massive games two of which are at the sol.

It’s still on imo but we need to set up the last three by taking care of Forest and Wolves first ….. looks straightforward on paper……

i honestly think goal difference is going to end up doing us over at the end of the season
Unless we absolutely batter someone

Friday is almost going to be like the start of a group stage competition.
Like a new mini season.

But what a position to be in!
That definitely won’t happen the way we set up.

I think Forest will be really tough. They need to win.

They don't
They've got the gutless skunks at H next week
We've never won at the SoL when on Sky of a Friday neet

They could not get another point and they'll still stay up. No chance Spurs win 2 out of 5 when they've won 2 out of their last 26.

They have exceeded all expectations for me, I’m like a dog with 2 cocks just staying up. Not sure Europe is a good idea to be honest, just look at Forest, 7th last year and a relegation battle this year probably down to fixture overload. I dunno I’ve just followed us long enough to be wary that if owt good happens a swift kick to plums usually follows.
Yeah, we don't want to be getting to cup finals and stuff as we might lose....................
We just need to focus on getting as many points as possible and what will be will be.

Think Forest will be tough on Friday. They basically need one win for safety and they have a tough run in so theyll be going for it.

Wolves seemed to have dropped their form they had at the start of this year so you'd fancy it but still away from home and not a gimmee.

Man U, Everton and Chelsea are three tough games.

I think people are getting ahead of themselves, we could get there or we could falter. I'm happy either way, been a great season even if we don't get another point.
I could see Edwards mixing it up at Wolves now they are down. He might drop some players he knows are leaving and put some youngsters in. They could be a surprise package.
I saw analysis on the BBC that said they would get a CL spot but the Europa spot then goes to Brugges.
I think that's if Villa finish lower than 5th and win the Europa. We would then lose the extra CL place.

Out of interest, how many matches? Fridays are a rarity. Also, you say never. Carlos Edward’s Burnley was one?

This, I think we will be in for a surprise tomorrow. They have some good players

Listening to a Forest podcast the other day and he wasn't confident about getting points at the SOL at all.

He cited a match against the Saudis where he is more hopeful of points and said he would rather be travelling away to Chelsea than Sunderland at this moment in time.

Only the opinion of one supporter granted but he was the switched on balanced type who seems to know his stuff.

Tough game definitely but if we play well there's no reason we cannot get 3 points.
