Home matches empty seats

Used mine twice this season and already renewed for next, so no the club have not changed things, why would they?
See empty seats at every game like.

Even though home games have been selling out, there's always empty seats dotted about. You don't see that at Od Trafford, Elland road, the City Ground etc.

Anybody think the club will introduce a scheme to prevent this i.e ST holders have to attend a certain number of games? Brentford and Arsenal operate this system
Happens at every ground in the land. We can resell. What are you outraged about?

The club dont even bother to tell people when they can resell their tickets and when people can by resale tickets.

I think they should crawl before they can walk.

For all the improvements at the club over the last several years, the ticketing side of it remains an absolute disgrace. It's constantly complained about and yet nothing seems to be done.

Baffling.

Fortunately I've not needed to use the resell option. But does it work? I've seen people on here saying the re sale tickets are only "go" once the club have sold all other available seats, including corporate. A couple of mates tried to use it during this season and the option remained greyed out on the system.

Used it once this season as I couldn’t pass it on to anyone in my group , my ticket sold within minutes as I was informed by email immediately.

The refund is credited against your account at the end of the season , it’s not refunded as I think it should be as they have my bank details through the direct debit scheme.

The credit was deducted from next seasons cost when the ticket was renewed.

You heard the the new CEO sound exasperated as we were some backward region that only Sunderland and Newcastle still have ticket offices in the premiership.

It’s quite deliberate to remove customer facing services and for us to suffer ticket anxiety.

Its treating each game as a gig, first come first served, what’s gone before is irrelevant and any thought you own a season ticket, that it Is yours even if you have sat there since 1997 is deluded.

You have no more ownership or entitlement than Joe Bloggs who has never been to the stadium in his life.

Proved on here to be a blatant lie. There's at least another half dozen Premier League clubs still have them.

Yes, you do.

Sometimes it did sometimes it didn’t.
You were only allowed to build a credit of up to £100 anyway.
One of my group suffered a lot of ill health this season and the ticket was either resold, we took someone else, or it didn’t get used at all if it didn’t resell.

Interesting

Surely people are more likely to return their ticket for resale if they can do it any time rather than checking to see if there is a window. They might well feel inclined not to bother, if they have to keep checking if the window for resale is open. Helps people in the general sale queue too.
The club will want to sell as many game by game tickets and corporates first before allowing a season ticket holder to reimburse himself with a ticket transfer

Hopefully they are careful with implementing any rules around mandatory attendance. For young kids night games can simply go on too late, and there is no way they should have their season ticket revoked because they can only make weekends.

Also many who live far away will have had these season tickets for years, through the tough times. Yes we want to make more use of the seats but simply taking their ticket off them cannot be the answer. Maybe reach out to them and help them with the resale process when they cannot attend.

This is what Brentford have implemented.

Football Club has a new policy, right to renew for the 2024/25 season.
