Season ticket waiting list

It’s such a blow to the feelgood factor of the past 2 seasons.

At Man City, the club issue season tickets with what’s called active QR codes, so they are constantly and randomly changing. So you can’t even send a screen shot of your ST for your Dad, brother or work mate to use. If you want to share your season ticket you have to set up a “friends and family” group at the start of the season. You also can’t have other season ticket holders in your group, so you are totally limited in passing it off.

And if you don’t use it, through monitoring, you potentially lose the ST, so for any games you can’t go it has to be given back to the club so they can sell it to a random

I was saying this on here not long ago. I know of a few people that haven't been able to use their ST much at all this season (health reasons) but they haven't been listing the tickets for resale either. It's definitely going to go the way of other clubs whereby SAFC won't just sit and see a seat empty every week if there's money to be made. Lots of PL clubs are like that now.

Got to be honest m8, it hasn’t had any effect on any of mine or my mates and family feel good factor, that’s entirely influenced by on field doings. The fact somebody can’t change seats easily isn’t any of my concern tbh, if it wasn’t this some fucker would be complaining cos the beers warm, or the tellys don’t work in the concourse, or somebody gets up on 75 minutes, there’s always something, win a few games and get into European competition and it’ll be chip paper. The loyal supporters argument died in modern football as soon as sky started dwarfing the money we put in and made us just another customer imho.

The club don't actually tell people when the resale is open and open it whenever they feel like it.

Even when lots of people happy to purchase and people happy to resell on here

So they can't have it both ways on that front.

Hence why I will not have any qualms about dropping Safc when the good times inevitably go.
Talking to alot of other pissed off people who have been die hards from other clubs and it's becoming more and more clear that folk are sick of the greed.

I have, it just says you will be contacted in chronological order when a season ticket becomes available.
No idea what number in queue as it doesnt say.

Though reading on here it seemed there was going to be a phase 2 free for all.

But also reading on here it seems the tickets all went in phase 1.

I'm hoping all those who want to swap seats, be it upgrade, downgrade, whatever, get to do that first though. Doesn't make a difference to the waiting list because as they move seats, they free up a seat.

So say you 2-3 seats and one of you can’t make it, there will be a random fan sat in between you! At City this season my mates have found the club has sold tickets to opposing fans, on the resale market! So you turn up for the game and find a Chelsea fan sitting next to you

Absolutely m8, I’ve no problems at all with the clubs ticketing policies or staff, in fact I’ll say, in my 57 years of going to watch my team I’ve never had any problems, well none that I haven’t sorted out myself, now I’m assuming you have, but I’m also assuming you’re a grown up so you can sort it out without whinging to total strangers about it, oh hang on….

You cant sort out anything when it's out of your control. The club have totally fcked over alot of loyal die hard supporters and given them absolutely no viable option to proceed. I get alot of folk on the RTG moan and complain about the stupidest of things regard's Safc but this isn't one of them

if it's ignored it could be any one of us losing our seat. It is wrong that our club is behaving this way, to loyal supporters and we should be supportive of those being wronged. "I'm all right Jack" is very selfish.

Some stuff definitely needs improving but at the same time you're right people will always find something to complain about.

Fair enough, I’ve whinged to strangers on here but there literally isn’t anything I have been able to do myself after they sold by seat last year.
Hopefully it doesn’t happen to you as believe me, there’s not a thing you can do about it.

Like yourself though mate, as a 50 year old man, I’ve been able to sort things out myself in the past but you’re just hit with a brick wall these days and that leads to the frustration that comes out on here.
