West Ham or Spurs…

Isn’t it refreshing not having to worry about the trapdoor but knowing we can get into a European place lads….fkn love this club! My first love, my only, my all! 🔴⚪🔴⚪🔴⚪️ F. T. Fkn M.

Biggest relegated side ever spurs? One for the oldies?

Back then it wasnt such a drop? Stars would leave div 1 sides to sign for ‘bigger’ league 2 sides?

Would be a huge story.
Man utd id have thought...but then at some point the likes of wolves Sheffield wed etc would have been massive clubs to drop too

Presumed then.

Sure it was leeds once had ‘on loan to division 2’ t shirts. Not really the disaster it is now.

How the feck does a club with trebble the budget of others (guess that) get in this scenario?

Yeh back then it would have all been owner driven anyway gates more than made up for the outgoings.

Now that drop is £100m straight away, less sponsorship, less corporate and a fire sale of players, and as we've seen the championship isn't an easy ride so no guarentee of an easy return

And still all those players that stay need paying if they haven't relegation clauses as well as trying to build a team to be promoted knowing you'll dump a load if you get promotion and have to buy a new set of players to stay up

Good posts. Were probably some more turnover/profit clubs in lower league due to gates. Not that anyone cared of that bollocks then!!!
It’s just you always expect the unexpected with sunlan ,so won’t relax till it’s mathematically impossible 😂
Surely you’re joking?

Behind the mags, I reckon West Ham and Spurs are joint second in my most disliked clubs in the prem.

Happy for either of them to disappear and never return.

Let's be honest once everyone started paying stupid wages and feesto get players,it fucked the game, these TV years should have been setting clubs up for generations, but its spent as soon as its earned and more now

I guess. Give the players n agents all yer money n yer no better off!

Hopefully Spurs, was happy with West Ham but the longer its gone on the way Spurs have been dragged in ..... hilarious. The other three all have a win in them. Spurs don't, although they will probably beat Wolves.

Historically I've disliked West Ham more than Spurs but with Kane and Son leaving, I'm not sure there's many positives to the Spurs team. So due to the amount of money they've spent, it's be slightly funnier if they went down over West Ham, but I won't be sad if either go down.
