Season ticket waiting list

The only email I received came a few days ago explaining what and when the two phases were. I could see from the dates that I had qualified for phase 1 by two days.

In the run up to 5pm I was logged in and clicking on men’s season tickets every few seconds. A couple of minutes after 5pm the screen changed to let me click to buy tickets. Pretty much every block in the ground was bright red so available. Thanks to some superstar poster on here putting screenshots up of seats that were going to available I clicked straight on P1 to select one of the pairs available. I have paid for them up front by credit card but at present they are both allocated to me instead of me and my wife. We are both over 65 so the category of ticket is correct for both of us. I have used the submit a request form to ask the club to allocate one to my wife who has a membership number just like me.
As I'm in the same boat I actually logged into my sons account and interestingly enough the two season tickets I bought under my membership number also appear on his account albeit both under my name and membership number, so as we are linked on the ticket side we are clearly linked on new season ticket purchase albeit I still want his ticket attributing to his membership number rather than both on mine, but fact they show on his future record is a positive I guess, not sure if same on your wife's account?

Thank you for that mate. I have just logged into my wife’s account and sure enough both season tickets are visible in my name. In my family and friends group I have my wife, son and grandson. However, given that my wife is the only other over 65 the system seems to have included her for the purchased tickets.

Yeh I have 2 sons in my family group but youngest is 19 ( u22) but he barely goes whereas my eldest ( adult ticket next season as hes almost 22) and me are sunderland daft, so the system has seemingly attributed it to his account too as the only other adult in my group, just need membership number moving over and it's happy days, and no worries bud, all here to help each along mate

Leeds income from tickets and corporates dwarfs ours. you can be sure the bloke from Chelsea will have some ideas of his own as well.
Thing is whats normal practice at Chelsea where they can screw people to the ground and they'll buy or be able to flog em to tourists is completely different to what can be achieved in the north east

The club has to get more revenue we all know that but trying to screw over fans is never gonna go down well or work longer term

I agree and the club hierarchy will find that out the hard way.

I suspect they are already aware, to a certain extent, and this is why they are ‘forcing” supporters’ to buy over-priced corporate packages.

Just re-reading their waiting list email:

So in theory people should have been able to buy 2 tickets, but they shouldn't have been able to assign them both to the same supporter ID.

SNAFU.
Aye I’ve got two on one membership OD, I’ve asked them to put one in the Mrs name but she doesn’t have a membership ID . God knows what they will do

Its sad after such an amazing season the club are pivoting (friends gif) this way, especially with the lower corporate, as these will be the ones that many folks would have treat themselves to for a season or two.
They aren't value for money when you think about it but for lots theyd have thought ah fuck it ill give it a go, but now as the prices rise, which they will the uptake will be less and less and those wanting to escape because of cost may find themselves frozen out altogether despite attending for years through no fault of their own. Just leaves a bit of a sour taste on a season thats beyond everyone's wildest expectations

Mine does too, but I never heard anything.

I think that could be another error, looks like it was a phase 1 free for all for some.

Nothing chronological except the 22nd February cut off date - before that phase 1 free for all and phase 2 will be everyone after that date, although I am hearing that people who joined the waiting list really early appear to have been missed off altogether

Just smacks of people not understanding their 'customers' rather than thinking these poor sods have put up with years of shit, let's not piss em off after a couple of decent seasons, because if it all goes to shit, these will be the same people they will be hoping turn up every other week and buy all the stuff they knock out every other week in the club shop.
Not everything is down to grabbing the money at the turnstile, add value, or try and get punters money other ways if they don't want a corporate package
