Yoane Wissa.

Can’t believe people would want him. He has been a total waste of money, even at 15m it’s helping them out. Let him rot there and keep their wage bill nice and high.

Think the days of players moving between the mags and us, either way are gone. Used to be common and often beneficial..Bobby Moncur coming here for example, and Guthrie and david Young before him.

Too much animosity nowadays. Pity, cos for the players it used to mean they didnt have to move homes families and were used to the rain and wind etc.

Plus we got Shack and Cloughie (from Boro) via that local trade

Apparently available for as little as £15m. Shocking bit of business by the mags but might be a bit of a bargain for someone else. Was it 20 PL goals he scored last season? I notice his time at L’Orient overlapped with Le Bris’ time there. In a different world (not currently a mag) I’d love to see him alongside Brobbey and I seem to recall him playing off the left occasionally at Brentford.
Jack shit resale unless he goes mad and gets 15 for another PL team

That’s a reasonable view to be fair. I think a player LIKE him who can operate anywhere across the front three and is potentially a one in two scorer is exactly what we need though seeing as we aren’t likely to go two up front.

Bothe Woltemade and Wissa had a one goal in every three games scoring average before joining newcastle. Both established players for their respective countries.

If Wissa was available for £15m, I'd have him. 45 PL goals in 137 games is very decent.

He's playing in a team bereft of ideas. Howe has shown he's clueless on who, what and how to play up front since Isak kicked them into touch.

Im sure RLB could sort Wissa out, hopefully Brobbey has a word with him .

Was Brobbey absolutely shite when we signed him on the back of a poor season in the Dutch league?
Did he beg to sign for the mags? He had had an ordinary season.

Wissa was signed by Howe and Howe alone for £55M and he won't bring him on for 5 minutes when they are desperate for a goal. Sorry but that speaks volumes for me. When a manager has made a twat of himself in the transfer market they usually give their new signings too many chances if anything to try and justify their (poor) judgement.

Beheaddie isn't playing Missa at all 🤣

I might take a punt in him for £1.5M or is that a typo 😏

He had a bad knee injury which totally fkd his season up.
IF he's available for £15m, it's a no brainer as long as the scans don't show any knee damage.
He's got an excellent PL scoring ratio, and is in his prime.
There'll be loads of takers, but I doubt £15m will be all they want.

He's had one bad season ( totally due to a serious knee injury) in last 5, has a good goals record in PL and he's now suddenly shite.
FFS man, this board.🤷

So he’s been good value for money for that lot then?

Have you actually watched him recently? He honestly looks a non league player who has been signed on a punt and isn't up to league 2 standard. He is literally doing nothing at all.

As I said earlier, he's there Milton Nunez. A tiny little fella who runs around a bit and is absolutely miles out of his depth. It's what he did when he came on at the SoL. I'd rather have Mason Burstow back, at least he was canny at closing down.
