Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Aye. Seems like its in a decent spot but nobody can make it work longterm. Not easy running a pub I imagine but it is an industry that is full of chancers as well.
Yeah the one before last was a mag and he used to wear his mag gear all day every day or at least every time i went in and that was never going to work, one before him was an oldish woman who was good and food was canny as well. Dont really know the ones now but think it is hard nowadays to make it work with people not having the spare cash

Seems weird. Its not like they're knocking it down . Pubs get make overs or new owners all the time

My Dutch mate was looking for affordable flights to try and get over for one final pint at the weekend when I told him a couple of weeks ago that it was closing
It's absolutely shite as well. It's got to be the most depressing place in town to have a drink in.

Barge & barrel, Joseph's, Vault Yard. All more depressing.

Whilst jamesons was shit, it had a comedy/people watching value to it
