Nearly home and still gutted

Notice the difference between your reaction to this thread about being gutted/feeling awful and to the pop you had at me

You also called me negative when this fella is the known most negative fella around

Incredible mind
Eh?

What different reaction? I don’t have a pop at anyone, a different opinion/ view is not a pop.

Resorting to sarcastic shite like that when you can't stomach a defeat.
Grow up man.

I'm proud of the team for today's performance and how the season has gone.
Eh? I'm being deadly serious  they've been warriors this season. Best Sunderland team I've seen personally.

That would of been the catalyst to propel us into Europe. From 3 1 to that 30 second moment nearly gave me the best comeback I would of witnessed live .
But too lose it as well was thd hardest part .
Thought diarra reinildo and onien were below par . . Not switching on cost us that game all very avoidable goals .
Hopefully ballard and hume retain their place on Friday cos these next 5 are massive .
Onto Friday just hope this hasn't mentally done them after coming back
They'll bounce back. Showed a lot of fight in the game in fairness.

I get the disappointment but I’m taking the positives as at 3-1 down I thought we were well beaten, but our heads stayed up and we showed our resilience once again.
Riggy getting his 1st PL goal was massive, Isador has hopefully been reborn, and Hume has just demanded his shirt back with that performance

Don't get too down man! Should be proud we got to 3 3 as i thought was game over a 3 1. All 3 mentioned were awful. Think it proves you need prem class players to play prem games. Diarra isnt for me we need the midfield 3 while he was injured. Le fee and reinildo were embarassing first half.
Has everyone just forgotten how well Reinildo played against Spurs and we kept a clean sheet ffs.
Does that make up for him being disastrous today? He was horrific, literally done nothing right.

Would have been easier just to lose 3-1 than go through all that 😂😂
If it finished 3 1 I would have been gutted we didn't turn up. We were trying but passes astray etc, against a bloody good team. That finish showed the fight. We nearly pulled off a win never mind a draw. These lads are young and will learn. Rigg 1st goal, Trai 1st goal, Wilson back in form.

Plenty of positives. Shows how far we have come. Sometimes you just have to hold ya hands up and suck it up. Good team villa

Chin up mate…. The highs are better for the lows. Guttered at the result but full of pride, what will be will be re Europe

Such a rollercoaster game, honestly thought it was gone at 3-1 and the fact they looked like scoring every time they came forward. Was unbelievable to come back to 3-3 but that amount injury time worried me. Diarra should have scored, no doubt but then it was about us seeing a good point out. Neither happened so absolutely gutted. Strangely if it finished 3-1 I would have accepted it, not happy but it was what it was, lost to the better more clinical team. But nor this team has fight, til the end etc, and it was but not for us this time. FTM scoring 3 away from home and still losing many🤣

Best reflection of today i've seen. I had similar thoughts on Xhaka but Phil Smith named him MOTM so maybe because he was only a bit below par and we notice it more?

Actually the was the hardest MOTM to chose I can remember this season.
A good team performance where no one stood out for 90 minutes.
Unusually our defence was opened up far too easily, and some players were not consistent for the whole game.
I ended up going for Xhaka as well
