Luke O'Nien

So is Diarra out of his depth at this level for the mistake he made ?

Or le fee for the penna at Brentford?

Or aldarete for putting it on a plate for solanke last week ?

Or xhaka for wasting countless crosses ?

O'nien isn't good enough for our first 11 , but the over reaction to every tiny thing he does is embarrassing..people are waiting like coiled springs to hammer him. A few players played poorly today, are they out of thier depth too?
The irony is that if Luke scores the winner against Chelsea on the last day of the season which puts us into Europe those on here will still find a way to make out it was nothing to do with him.

Stupid argument.

All the players youve mentioned have put in numerous good performances at the top level. An off game is the exception not the rule.

O niens poor performances are the rule. When he plays well its the exception

If Aldarete and Ballard are fit they'll both start against forest

He might even start nordi in the middle and bring hume or Gerty in

But at some point in the last 6 games we might need o'nien to play a few minutes.
I will come back to you on Friday when he's in the starting line up again.

You might think you know better than Le Bris but you don't.

4 starts. 3 wins and a defeat and 3 very good performances

If he starts ahead of a fully fit Ballard then I think it's a bad mistake by reggy

It was his worst game for us , he got ran all over off Ollie Watkins, like many defenders have .

If he's not good enough for the premier League based on that, then half the players in the league aren't.

He'll not start the next game as we have better centre backs than him
Just watched the goals
Think folk are being hard on him!
First goal has obviously got an eye on morgan Rogers whose raced straight through the middle.
Second and third goal are just good goals. The third were people expecting him to run with Rogers and leave space for Watkins to run to the goal?

The last goal was a knackered player who lost his man unfortunately.
Good movement by villa.

When we’re at full strength he’s not in the 11. He’s proved his worth this year, especially when he keeps his head.

To pick out all the things he does wrong is to ignore the stuff he did right today, and every time he plays.

There aren’t many centre backs and full backs in the Prem who don’t get turned inside out a few times every game...

Watkins was brilliant today.

It needs further analysis than just the results.

He was hugely culpable for 3 of the 4 goals today.

Should have conceded a VAR penalty against Leeds at 0-0. How he didn't was mind-boggling and a massive error from the officials, if we are being objective.

Gave a goal away against Newcastle with a howler of an error.

3 wins due to his superior team mates bailing him out.
The team wins games. Everyone has had bad moments, even Xhaka. Every time Luke makes a mistake, there's an army of supporters ready to scream that's he's out of his depth. IMO he shouldn't start every game, but he's not a bad rotation option. And that's before we speak on his off the pitch role.

As we're half the first 11.

Are all of them out of thier depth too ?
Anyone can have a bad game individually and as a team but he was sent off vs man c within minutes, had a player around the neck against leeds that could have cost us, gave goal away against mags then at fault nearly every goal today so yes he is out of his depth

Been a great servant but it’s blatantly obvious he’s out of his depth at this level
Time to let him go in the summer
He’s been decent at times this season, today Villa showed their class and he had an off day.

Nothing more to it. He was never meant to be our 1st team CB this season.

This.

Its actually tedious now but like I said Le Bris and KLD think differently to the arm chair army who think they can run a team better than the managers who currently have.
