If you said we would be 3-3 in the 92nd minute with just a roll into Talbi to complete the comeback of all comebacks I would have did you needed to see a doctor. That hurt today.
 
We can either pat ourselves on the back and remember how bad it was in league 1 and how this time last year you’d never have believed we’d be where we are at now. Or you can seize the moment in the here and now. Today could have been an utterly groundbreaking day pushing us much closer to Europe and a result and game we would have talked about and remembered for a long long time. What a shame we didn’t seize that moment.

You have to be pleased overall though that the late Brighton equaliser probably secured your PL status after your lads lost with a whimper yet again.

That was a great finale to a really good Premier League game. Villa deserved to win on the balance of play and that's the how it finished.
