Team vs Forest

Roefs
Mukiele - Ballard - Alderete - Reinildo
Xhaka
Sadiki - Le Fee
Rigg ----------- Talbi
Brobbey
Would like us to play one of our best players in his actual position for once

If I can be pedantic, Sadiki would be alongside Xhaka and Le Fee in front in the '10'. That would also make it easier for us to press and defend in a 4-4-2.

He wont have the balls to drop Diarra for Talbi so Rigg will need to make way.

It HAS to be Ballard Alderette centre half or failing that, Ballard and Nordi with Hume RB.

Eh
I'd drop Diarra as well.

However the idea that Le Bris won't do it because he's scared too is one of the maddest things I've read on here

Yea he was pretty good today. He was on the ball more often than normal. Kept it moving, drew some fouls. He got the ball to Sadiki for lay off to Rigg and had other opportunities in that same space. And of course the press.

Would really dent Diarra's confidence to be dropped. But Le Fee is simply better at all aspects of attacking play and should be in the middle.

he rarely hooks diarra despite him typically being our worst player week in week out.
Maybes he rates him differently to others. Maybes he thinks he's worth persevering with.

Maybes our best manager in years is smarter than you're giving him credit for.

Alternatively, maybes he's scared of dropping Habib Diarra

Maybes he doesn't rate him massively.

I think he's canny, but he isn't the world beater some like to say he is.
Hasn’t had a run of games to build any sort of form IMO. Liverpool wanted him, he’s a Dutch international, great game against the Mags etc. surely a better option?

I thought Gerty was immense playing RB against the Mags.

If Aldarete is injured, I’d play Gerty RB, move Mukiele to CB to pair with BDB and Reinildo/Hume LB.
I think Mukiele at RB, attacking wise, is a huge deal for us (albeit not today but generally).

Gerty was decent against the mags but in a game we'd be expected to be on the front foot (which is when we usually struggle), id prefer a proper attacking RB in there.

Also not a fan of shifting everyone on defence around.

Yeah, he probably is. I just don't think it's as clearcut a difference as many are making out.

Was people screaming for him to start in midfield in Xhakas absence, and when he finally played he was shite.

Think Rigg won't start but unsure how we line up on the right. Hume should be in if Alderete is out. Not sure how to play Diarra if Le Fee is in the middle? Will be another good game for sure. Defend better will be the message this week.

Same people who claimed Hume was the golden boy who’d never be dropped when Mukiele came back, only for him to drop to the bench when Mukiele came back.
