Julian Brandt

Good piece in a book by the ex Head of Data at Liverpool saying Klopp rejected the idea of signing of him because he wouldn’t match the physicality of the Premier League and they went for Salah instead

Think would be a great signing and would be quite a statement. As long as we bring in some younger players then think this is ok. But doesn;t he play in the Le Fee position? Think he would get more goals but Le Fee is a big favourite.

Anyone who thinks that getting Brandt on a free wouldn't be a good option for us should stop watching football.

He might be nearly 30 but his experience, ability and know how would only improve the squad as well as help push on some of the younger players.

Might not be as influential or game changing as signing Xhaka but he's spent almost his entire career playing at the highest levels both in Germany for big clubs and for his country. I'd have him here for nowt in a heartbeat. Not sure what his wage demands would be.

How tall is he?
Never actually heard of him, will have to google.
6'1" or 185.5cm
Aren’t Bournemouth getting that ex Dortmund manager in? I can see Brandt going there.
Sadly I think this might prove more enticing, unless we also manage to secure a European berth of some sort or the duo of Granit and KLD weave their magic again.
