To the "we're not ready for Europe" crowd

Need to go for it.

Would be great European nights under the SOL lights.

We can only dream hopefully we can do it..

Galls me them barcoded twosers up the road having CL football on & off for past 30 years hopefully it's our turn in time to have this.

Think we need to build a competitive to cope on all fronts & confident like others have mentioned we've always found a way under KLD.

@10 Trenches Deep maybe an interesting point of conversation between yourself and Connor next pod….

1. If we got into Europe, what squad size do you think would be right for us to be able to remain competitive fighting on two fronts? (I am guessing you’d need a large squad)

2. Would this likely force the hand of the club on incomings with respect to the home grown rule? (I assume it would as you can’t just bring in kids)

3.How would European rules on transfer spending impact this? (I understand they are more restrictive than the prem)

Love your guys work, but just thought maybe a conversation to be had, especially if we get something from this game.

I’ve said this before, there’s a strategy where the first time you qualify for Europe you play the 2nd team in those games and see what happens whilst prioritising the PL games
That’s the way the build properly until you had the depth to cope properly whilst enjoying the financial benefits

All I can think of when I see someone whinge about getting into Europe is them still collecting trolleys in car parks for Tesco at 60 year old.

Ambition makes life more fun and interesting, and I don't mean in a capitalistic way.

Would there be financial benefits? I’m going back a long way now, but it used to be said playing in the early stages of the second tier European competitions meant a cost to put on matches?

That said, we’re in a different world of sponsorship & corporate life.
If it happens, it happens and embrace it.

Those in charge will have a plan and we'll be prepared, enjoy it man.
I’m still not paying £53 to see them

if we get conference league, the standard of the teams is not the best. Good squad rotation will be enough to suffice.

We’ve played two games a week in league one and the championship for years, granted travel adds a bit of strain.

We will add to the squad in the summer too. I’m confident we have a plan to deal with the extra work load.
