Cov Promotion - A new perspective on an old topic

They don't have the pull that we had on promotion unfortunately. They'll probably go for someone like George Dobson or Shea Charles as their big signing.

I was talking to some outside the sol.at the playoff game. Awful set of arogant pricks. Seriously thought they were some type of super club

We also created more good chances than they did which just after putting them away is a pretty important thing in football

Hmm ok. I keep hearing about SCR/ the new system, but I’m not entirely sure football media/ the footballing world has actually caught up with it yet - as I’m yet to really read about the impacts.

Is it a rolling thing? So clubs can front load?

No. Each season is assessed separately. The only rollover is that if you overspend, your cap is reduced in future seasons until it's cleared. At a stretch, you could say that allows front end loading, but it will hammer your ability to buy going forwards.

Go on then, with your experience, if you were working for Ipswich or Southampton especially - what would you do in their position?
