I know not a direct comparison but if Wharton is getting touted for that much. We do the same or he's not going.

The hierarchy are savvy enough to know that players like Sadiki and Roefs are big reasons we've stayed up at a canter this season. So unless we want to struggle next season, we have to look to add to the squad depth and not sell the crown jewels for knock off prices.

They can see that there's a few clubs sitting in much better positions than them right now in terms of players and cash.

I don't think the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs etc understand what we do here. Sadiki is part of a unit; well drilled and enjoying his football.

Buying him doesn't solve anything for Chelsea unless they can get him in the right mindset. They (and the others mention) can't just drop a player into a group of twats and expect miracles, regardless of how much they've paid.
