PIF at the end of the day is a pension fund , if its losing money people will pull their money out , they, (PIF ) need to start making money and the visitors are loss making so will be ditched after serving the purpose of sports washing

It’s so sweet.

They were desperate for the Saudis, petitions, protests outside parliament when parliament wasn’t even sitting 😂, hounding every company, wharrabout Disney etc, etc, etc..too many to mention, dancing with tea towels.

The takeover coincided with probably our lowest point.

Apparently, We were done and dusted, never to darken their doors again.

Yet here we are.

The smug satisfaction knows no bounds ☺️

Its strange over here on the dark side. They are only just now wanting to chat football and playing everything down. "Season over" etc etc.

Would that £750m include the stadium which is now a completely seperate entity to NUFC?
Even if the Saudis built a new stadium, I'm not sure they'd sell the stadium with NUFC. The new stadium isn't just for football as it could generate a shit load more from other things. It could well be that NUFC would end up leasing it from the Saudis if they sold them.

You only have to look at Spurs now to see that having one of the best stadiums in the world doesn't mean the footy on the pitch is successful. Then again, the Saudis don't want to pay for it all do they or was that just paper talk?
.
If they did pay for the lot, they could sell NUFC but keep the stadium, charge them a lease but then also get all the income from the stadium from other things.

He's right

They would only use the extra revenue to embarrass themselves in the transfer market.

In the Eddie Howe's mam's house, there is a cupboard filled with bags of magic beans, which the brothers have got in exchange for family cows.

My Mag BiL, after mentioning to him that it looks like a few of their 'stars' are wanting away in the summer, reckons that both of our teams will be having to "rebuild their squads next season".

Apparently they're going to have a huge clear out, which will fund another big summer spend to get in the better replacements for those heading out. I suggested that they are skint after £250m spent last summer and shafted by the PSR/SCR rules.

He also reckons that their summer signings are "coming good" and will be "amazing" next season.

I should be very worried because teams now apparently know how we play and we'll be easier to beat next year once ALL of our best players are stolen from us.

I take it that he isn’t a member of Mensa?

He's your typical, non-attending, stopped going when they were boycoutt-ing Ashley, 92er, jawdee nashun, entertainers, everyone's second team mag.

He even told me it doesn't make me a better a fan than him just because I have a ST and attend. I told him I wasn't a fan but actually a supporter. His response;
"I support them from the settee!"

Bless his heart he's alright until you talk about football. Then the transformation comes over him. Me and the bairn have been sending him smug selfies of us on our way home from the match.
