PIF sports funding

10 what?

Point is not about how realistic it us, more the likelihood of them pulling away soon

My point is these club owners always roll out popular lines about winning things in x number of years!

Pearson is just repeating the club statement, which is as valid as Reynolds claiming hed have Darlo in the Premier league in 10 years.

For what its worth, I think theyll stay at Newcastle and do what Ashley did. Run it close to profitable as possible whole using it as a shop window for Saudi businesses. They might sell a stake, but i dont expect them to pull out.

Hard to know what to glean from any of this. One fact remains though - since the Saudi takeover SAFC have crawled up from the depths and overtaken them in the Premier League!
With no blood on our hands.

So far, their dream takeover has amounted to "cans" outside the shit tip, a tin pot, and a few nights of schooling in Europe. Big fuckin' deal.

For all their riches, they still can't hold onto their best players, they still can't attract the best players, and now they're back to where they were ten years ago whereby they still can't beat us - or even muster a draw.

A cursory glance below the surface will tell you they're a bit of a mess behind the scenes. There's no coherent plan. No real vision. And no real sense of identity any more other than being poster boys for Saudi Arabia in their green and white change kits. And they're all so wrapped up in themselves that they can't quite work out what's happening. It's not fully dawned on them yet that there's more to this game than a rich Arab.

Never count ya chickens. They could get a better coach than Beheddie. They might not. They might make some decent signings. They might not. PIF might walk away and a better owner might come in, or they might not. Let them bastards worry about all that. At the minute, they're treading water at best, whilst we're making waves.

The price won’t do them much good if they can’t get the oil out the strait.
They have started to use the cross country pipeline to Yanbu on the Read Sea coast. Currently pumping 7,000,000 barrels a day, which is $700,000,000 or about £ half a billion per day, so I can't see them going bankrupt any time soon.

They've got a massive rebuild on their hands in the Summer.
I can't see the following staying: Tonali, Gordon, Guimares, Livramento.
And then those that cost a fortune and simply are not good enough: Wissa, Woltemade, Elanga, Jacob Ramsey.
Dan Burn is 33 -legs going, Trippier's away, same for Schar -35 in December.

Virtually a full squad there.

You're giving the fans too much credit, I've heard some saying pif pulling out of liv golf is good news for them so they concentrate on noocastle
I know exactly what you mean, but a few of them in the comments here are starting to realise, as I say, I know how uneducated/unintelligent they are, but it's so astoundingly obvious now that I think even a handful of their stupid fans can grasp it.......

They’re treading water, we’re surfing past in a mankini and sunglasses with a cigar on.
