Di Canio

Cant deny his passion and football ability though
He kept us up tbf, and should have been binned straight afterwards.

He might have been a bit ‘mad’ but the club hierarchy was worse at the time. No strategy and inept leadership.
My mum met him in a hotel bar in Paris, and said he was one of the most charming people she's ever met
At the 3-0 loss against WBA when he was sacked afterwards he somehow bumped into my 12 year old (at the time) son near the away end. PDC ruffled my son’s hair and told him that everything was going to be ok. We just had to wait a bit for his prediction to materialise.

Should have been given more time here. His knee slide should be the 15th statue.
That would have been a bit difficult as I don't think the Club had ever faced a full scale player mutiny before. 😂

I think that Captain Blyth had a better prospect of patching up his differences with the crew of the Bounty when they threw him overboard.
