Best clomax to a top flight season?

In my lifetime I’m going to nominate:


1)Arsenal winning it with the last kick at Anfield. ‘It’s up for grabs now’ as Michael Thomas raced through to win it.

2)Maradona wins the Scudeto for the first club outside the North for Napoli in 1987. Huge moment and he was simply a genius.

3)You have to put Aguarrrroooo for Man City (was it their first title in modern times?) and of course we had a small involvement in the day

4) Blackburn losing at Anfield, I think it was Jamie Redknapp with a free kick, Liverpool fans couldn’t celebrate, Blackburn fans distraught but full time blew at Upton Park moments later and all four sides of the ground celebrated. Weird.

For me, Michael Thomas / Brian Moore moment wins it!
 

Was just thinking about this very thing this morning. Arsenal away to Liverpool 1989. To go away to Anfield needing to win by two clear goals to win the title and achieving that with virtually the last kick of the game. Remarkable. I wanted Liverpool to win n’all.

CLOMAX - Is a mash up of two words one might accidently use audibly just as he or she is about to orgasm ....but in ones excitement ends up using not one or the other obvious words but some amalgamation of both !

Spanish league 1993-94
Deportivo led Stoichkov and Romarios Barca all season. Stuffed Real Madrid 4-0.
Bebeto and Mauro Silva won the world cup a few months later.

Depor led Barca by a point on the last day.
Just had to match what Barca did.
Barca quickly and easily beat Sevilla 5-2 at Camp Nou.

Meanwhile in La Coruña Depor were drawing 0-0 with a hard working Valencia who were promised a load of cash ' maletines' in Spanish....briefcases of cash, to try hard against Depor.

Last minute when all seemed lost Depor got a penalty. Bebeto put his head down. Didnt fancy it. Up stepped Serbian centre half Djukic to win a first ever league from the spot. (Think Blackburn or Leicester for Depor winning the league).

Keeper dives the right way to stop a weak penna, jumps up to celebrate his windfall with the Valencia players.

La liga lost. I was there as an Erasmus student in Coruña. Great year. They carried Djukic out the stadium in tears and paraded him around the streets.

Depor finally won their only league in 2000.

Could be back up this seasom to La Liga, sat joint 2nd in the 2nd after 8 years in the 3rd and 2nd divisions. Remind you of anyone?
