PIF sports funding

More snidey clickbait from Lee Snyder. The article is a statement from PIF that doesn’t mention the Mags at all, and their evidence for PIF’s commitment is a meeting Synder had with that Yank CEO where he regurgitated the same old waffley toss he’s been spouting from the start.
Which is of course “I’m convinced that pif still see us as high up on their list”, with zero evidence whatsoever. I bet he doesn’t even ever speak to them. I bet pif are starting to have next to zero involvement in day to day at Newcastle, if that hasn’t been the case for ages already would be my guess. I never thought I’d say this but I hope the Saudis do keep them, cos they’re doing a bang up job so far.

And yet you’ve got complete wankers like Lee Ryder writing articles like this that try and convince everyone that pif are all in on Newcastle, have a guess how many mentions of Newcastle pif have actually made in this article……

A five year plan for 2030, it is 2026 isn't it?

Yeah, my guess would be outsourcing the running of it to Hopkinson with the instruction ‘make us some money’ while they focus on understandably bigger issues.

I do hope PIF sell. Said before that if the rules change and people can invest limitlessly then the Mags have an extraordinary financial advantage over the football world.

There is absolutely no chance these lot are bank rolling a billion and a half on a new stadium and training ground. Money they'll never see back.
And the rest, the council want a massive amount to redevelop the area where at SJP is currently. The club also aren't interested in building the stadium with the squad at it current level. So the mags shouldn't get their hopes up of an announcement anytime soon. Thankfully.

Yeah but I don’t think now that the Saudis would even take advantage of that.

The exact opposite of what is being said on SSN right now.

Nothing to see here.

Back to watching the champions league.
