Bayern want Brobbey

Newcastle specifically, he was quite complimentary about the region more generally.

He lives in Gosforth apparently and in the interview said its completely different to Amsterdam and the type of culture he grew up around iirc.
Coming from dealing with Dutch gangsters, tourists on bicycles - to at worst Geordie Josh standing outside his house with his pokemon teddies calling him shite.

As much as I am enjoying him these past few weeks, partly for the hilarity of seeing him chucking big lumps of centre halves around (he visibly measured up the spurs sub on Sunday as soon as he came on), links to clubs like Bayern are utterly insane. He's nowhere near that standard.
The PL is better than the Bundesliga. Other than a few CL matches, he won’t be playing against better opposition.

Nar. He's only got 6 goals man. I know there's more to his game than that but 6 goals and 1 assist can't demand 'way more' than £40 million.
He’s easily worth £40m. His hold up play is magnificent, we can get up the pitch and ease the pressure on the defence. He brings the wingers into play, something no other striker we have can do. In fact, I’d be pretty pissed off if we sold him for as little as that. Donkey Any Carroll went for nearly that 15 years ago.

His stock is rising with every game , hopefully he stays and we can still bring in someone to play off him as we don't score enough goals
IF he were to be poached then agree £40m absolute minimum when you look at the fees the mags paid last summer

Supposedly he’s proper struggled to settle in the region and wants to be away

( rumour ) from some lad at match. Might be shite. Might be something in it. We shall see
He was interviewed last month and said he absolutely loves living here. He went back to Amsterdam and it no longer felt like home and he was happy when he got back to the NE. Based on that, some lad at the match was talking shite

Think we might cash in on 1 or maybe 2
This is my worry.

There is no doubt we will sell 'some' first team players in the summer, not because we want to, or have to, but because big money get's offered, the players wages go crazy and agents (the scourge of football) become involved.

Whilst we are now in a much stronger position in terms of asking the fee's, and should make a tidy profit, one potential issue is the recruitment to replace.
I trust the recruitment team have a long list of alternatives in every position and say should we lose Roefs then the replacement is already identified with an estimated cost and planned into our summer budgeting.

We have to trust the process.
If the plan isn't sorted we could have a difficult 2nd season back... but trust them at the moment.

£100m for Brobbey and Roefs. Could we make the team/squad stronger with that? Potentially £30m or so for Garcia of Madrid.
That's very low for those two
I am ok with clubs chasing after our players but I don’t think any should be let go before 2 years service to the club.
And nobody knows that the club didn't ask for this at the time of their signings

He’s completely unique but cant see how Bayern, who create a host of chances every week, want a Striker who isnt clinical at all.

Theres an argument he would bring others into play at Bayern but its not like they struggle with that anyway, Kane wont be around in 3-4 years time (max) and signimg Brobbey for a load of money doesnt mitigate him going.

Really hope to keep him. Imagine what he'll be like with a pre season behind him. Had a few fans from other teams not rating Brian, but they don't realise he wasn't 100% when he arrived and then he had the few weeks out. He's going to be even better next season.
