Iraola signs for Liverpool

They play the best football in the league and are really punching above their weight. Howe has teams punching below their weight, plays shite football and seems clueless.

Bournemouth play the best football in the league?? Have to say their scintillating play has passed me by thus far 😂

Howe has teams punching below their weight? Maybe this season they are but Newcastle have outperformed their wage bill / turnover every season he’s been there. And he’s won a trophy and qualified for CL twice.

Iraola has a win percentage over his career something akin to Steve Bruce. Howes is significantly higher

Bournemouth and Palace will find it hard to attract similiar level of managers to Glasner and Areola. If Silva leaves Fulham thats a period of stability for Fulham gone.

Be a few middle pack clubs possibly struggling next season

Do you think Moyes could go this summer? Always thought he was just brought in to try and soothe that gap between Goodison and BMD. Not really a long term appointment.

Could be looking at Man City, Man United Chelsea, Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and potentially one of Leeds, Forest, West Ham and Spurs potentially looking for new managers come the summer or early Autumn.

To be fair people said Brentford would struggle after losing Frank. You really don’t know with managers. Look at the guy at Southampton, he was the u21 coach!
Will reject the mags, just like the majority of players do

They’re about as attractive as Matt Lucas
The daft thing is, some mags, especially the Durham types, wouldn’t see him as a big enough name for them

It’s a huge appointment for them coming up, they’ve been up a while now and done great for the size of the club. However you have a feeling they’re one bad appointment away from things going wrong. As are most sides but the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth are punching at their historical highest and doing amazing things but one bad move and that can unravel very quickly.
Brentford were little short of miraculous this year in finding an internal appointment who's done better with the team than Frank did, despite losing Mbuemo, Wissa and Norgaard over the summer.

Sooner or later though, like you say, it doesn't work out and then it all goes bad quickly.

Think having a 20 goal striker has also helped Brentford this season!

According to the Athletic no decision has been made on his contract situation marra.

Personally I think he'll stay on but he does push for ready made signings (Grealish, KDH) whereas the recruitment team this summer did sign a few "prospect" type players as part of a strategy who Moyes hasnt given much of a sniff to (Dibling, Aznou, Rohl) so the board may want longer term a Iraola type manager to "develop" these types of signings.
