Iraola signs for Liverpool

Kieran McKenna to AFCB seems to be the strongest rumour at the moment.
Whilst on paper it’s a move up it really depends on who Bournemouth sell if it’s a sensible move that’s if Ipswich go up. He has credit in the bank at Ipswich and nothing to lose whereas at Bournemouth he could be sacked after 10 games if things don’t go well. Be huge for Ipswich if he does leave though.

Possibly Athletic Club Bilbao but I reckon his stock is much higher than their current performance.

However, he is a club legend and probably would be keen on giving Athletic a new direction and identity. Different to Valverde.

Said in the other thread, hope it’s not to the mags. He’s a very good coach.

Is he? Why’s he any better than Howe? Because he’s got a Spanish name. He’s achieved absolutely fuck all in the game. Bournemouth are below us. Howe took Bournemouth from the bottom league to the top and has done very well with the mags and won a trophy.

It’s a strange take if you ask me. People underestimate English coaches and somehow overrate foreign ones

I did a touring holiday in Spain in 2019 travelling from Madrid to Zamora and the onwards to Santiago de Compostela. Scenery seemed to switch from brown to green the moment you crossed the Galician border (this was mid-September).
Yes, northern Spain is really green, and the mountainous areas in places like Asturias etc. look and feel like Switzerland. When we were visiting, if we had just been teleported there, we would never have guessed looking at the landscape that we were in Spain. I think the northern part of Spain has what is called an Atlantic maritime climate rather than a Mediterranean climate. The contrast weather wise between north and south is way greater than anything we see in England.

Eduardo del Howayman

Madreeeeeeed?
Thought for a while he would replace pep
Howe to Bournemouth?
Carrick to Mags

It’s probably wetter in Bilbao
Carrick to the mags is a good shout like. They’ll go on like her turned down Man Utd for them etc.
Although I think they’ll be disappointed cos they’ll want Alonso or someone 😂

Look at the players they’ve bought and sold. A lot of that is down to recruitment, but coaching also plays a massive part.

Ireola, Frank, Glasner, (most likely) Carrick....lots of names going to be hovering around in summer/start of next season. Going to be worth getting some bets in for managers to go early doors.

They play the best football in the league and are really punching above their weight. Howe has teams punching below their weight, plays shite football and seems clueless.
Brentford, Bournemouth and Leeds down next season hopefully
Why? All decent teams. I reckon they all stay up easily.
