The Tottenham conspiracy

Stinks of bullshit. My family are Spurs fans and I arranged with The Vault Yard for that to be the away pub. Went to chat to the lads on the door post match and they said the Spurs and Sunderland lads got on great and there was no problems.
Don't need an away pub in Sunderland. All the pubs I know are away fan friendly.

I know, but it helps to point every one in the direction of one place if not they'll end up through Newcastle and just get the metro through.

Most away fans expect bother getting into pubs so having a designated away pub sorts the issue.

There isn't an issue though. Away fans are very welcome in all pubs

Yes but a lot of away fans drink through Newcastle. Spurs Twitter was asking where everyone was drinking and Newcastle kept popping up. If Vault Yard hadn't agreed to allowing Spurs fans in numbers then a lot would have went to the Victoria Comet and metro'd through, as that is what they've done for Newcastle away the last 8 years. Plus, away fans don't know they'd be welcome in every pub.

Then let them go there , it's not an issue

Surely that's happened cos we've been gone a decade. Itll even itself out.

Same happened this season with likes of Bournemouth and Brentford fans. Speaking to them afterwards they said they'd wished they'd realised they could stay and drink in Sunderland.
They never knew.

They said they will for next time

If they come in via Newcastle they see Newcastle Road, Tesco, Hilton and away end.

Not exactly a great advert for the city.

They've made a whole video on their subreddit with every decision they're aggreived about. I've never seen a fanbase with such a collective headloss by a ref's performance, it's fantastic.

What's even better is half of the calls they're angry about are great shouts by the ref. The Sadiki tackle that's first on the video is a brilliant challenge.

I really hope these melts get relegated so they can experience some actual dodgy refs and the rigours of championship football, the pampered twats.
