Bayern want Brobbey

Its crazy we even have players linked with Bayern. 5 years ago we were loaning their third choice keeper and celebrating it. How far we have come in that time is absolutely incredible.

That said, if the offer is north of 60m i can see them being considered, especially if we still have an interest in Garcia from Madrid
With our style of play.. we need a bruiser up top to hold the ball up. Garcia wouldn’t be a good fit. Yes he’s very talented but we’re not good enough for that sort of striker. Hopefully after this summers recruitment it might change.
We need some class wingers to support brobbey and create chances for him. That’s the key to this summer.. also a understudy for xhaka and reinildo

I'm not worried about interested parties, that's part and parcel of footy when your team/played are doing well. What I'm expecting is clubs coming in with some serious low ball offers with the intent of unsettling our lads.

Thankfully, it looks like we have a good bunch here who I don't think will be looking to make another move after only one season here. These lads are making an impact together and they've built something together with pretty much all of them coming in at the same time.

Most have all come from big clubs where they weren't getting any game time or had bad experiences, so I'm just not seeing any of them really pushing for a move so soon.

I don't believe our board would want to break a side up like we've no got. It can take years to get a team to gel, and I'm not even sure if the board or coaching staff expected everything to fit so seamlessly. Brobbey is starting to look like that missing piece upfront and is integral to how we progress in my opinion.

Don't think we will lose any of the good uns for another season at least. We don't need to sell and he is absolutely crucial to our set up/formula. Only way that'd happen is if daft money came in which I think would be premature based on one season in the prem.
This is exactly my take on it.
One good season in the Prem would be a bit of an expensive gamble for the top clubs

It's a bullshit story.

All he said was it's a lot quieter here than it was in Amsterdam and folk have spun that into a negative.
Brobbey seems a quiet character and didn't seem to enjoy his time in Amsterdam. He might prefer it here.

This os even worse than your Talbi is shit crack because you met a belgian on holiday.

This will be solely based on that interview where he said the north east is very different to Amsterdam.
Newcastle specifically, he was quite complimentary about the region more generally.

He lives in Gosforth apparently and in the interview said its completely different to Amsterdam and the type of culture he grew up around iirc.

This is going to be one stressful summer. Fortunately, KLD and co. seem to know what they’re doing so I have every faith they’ll have a plan for this sort thing.
Stress isn’t selling players for profit, it’s signing mainly shite players for at least 5 seasons.

After the shit he's been through, he'll be enjoying it here. You can see he's enjoying it here now that he's got to grips with how easy it is for him to rag defenders about and getting shown some love from the fans.
