The Tottenham conspiracy

The Koreans remember all teams that have had a Korean player. I was in Korea last year for work and I went out to dinner with some Korean colleagues. We were chatting and they asked if I liked sport. So of course I say I'm STID and their faces lit up. "You had Korean player!" But I had to correct them..."we had two! Ki and Ji" and they went berserk. Korean players who made it overseas are huge stars over there.
It actually wasn't me suggesting they switch clubs, if it was in relation to someone else saying they will.

Nah. he was using the push on the defender to prevent himself running into the keeper too, which would have caused much more damage.

Think about it, if you were a keeper, would you rather have one of your own defenders get pushed into you, or for one of your own defenders AND Brian Brobbey to charge into you?

Brobster did the humanitarian thing pushing the defender IMO. Should be given a FIFA Peace Prize for it.

Defenders shield the ball out of play for corners with no attempt to play the ball, it's allowed.
Yes, that was Boothroyd's point. It frustrating for forwards, hence the nudge by Brobbery to see or get to the ball. Gallagher said it wasn't a card because if happened in the corner nothing gets said.
Yeah I'm sure the rule is that you are in control / possession if you are in playing distance of the ball.
That's the argument. Is the defender deliberately stopping the player by having no intent to play the ball?

Is it different from giving a player a shove into the advertising boards?

A player is entitled to do that surely if they are within playing distance. What if they are shielding it out for a goal kick? Do they have to play the ball?

That's the argument. Was Romero guilty of stopping Brobbery getting to the ball? Brobbery was trying to get to the ball and nudge Romero. It was unfortunate that the 2 players got injured but if they didn't collided, it would have been a free kick and no yellow. The same if it was at the corner flag.

No.

Who’s supposedly masterminding the conspiracy behind them playing absolutely shite on a weekly basis?

lad i saw on one of the spurs facebook pages (i seem to be getting bombarded with suggestions for those pages since yesterday) had a well thought out and expertly delivered argument that the FA - in conjunction with the TV companies - are desperate for Spurs to be in the championship so when they renegotiate the TV packages with foreign audiences they can sell it for a higher price

Mag levels of delusion.

A handful of supporters switching clubs or switching which league they watch in South Korea will have ZERO impact overall to the premier league tv deal. Your argument is daft

They do have a bit of history with Spurs but I still think it's in wolves interests to not have Spurs in that league with them next season. Burnley are always there or thereabouts, Spurs could easily sell 2000 odd million worth of players and spend a good 100 million, they will piss that league.
Once Wolves relegation is done and dusted the hierarchy there may look to protect assets, its only natural and play players they want to keep next season

In theory, I agree mate. However, it will all depend how quickly they adapt to being in the championship.

They are going to have a huge target on their backs and a trip to the Spurs stadium will be every clubs big day out.

I have been watching Spurs Podcasts and YouTubers etc. they are claiming the premier league are out to get them and there is a conspiracy against them😂.

Mind you I will say Brobbey should have been off after he pushed Romero into their keeper. The penalty was the right decision in the end.

The delusion😂
So it’s all the other teams and the league that has caused them to be shit??? New one a’l give em credit for it!!🤣🤣🤣

Agree, think tgey will keep tge nucleus of their young players, add a a couple of season pros. Wouldn't even surprised to see them go fir someone like 09 to bring a bit of harmony to the squad and championship know how
