Diarra

There was a moment in the first- half when he chased back and won the ball. I think he is grasping what the PL is about and he is still a young lad.

I thought he did well and it was noticeable how much he was pressing and putting himself about.

If I had one negative it would be his final ball / decision making in the final third. There was one occasion yesterday when all he had to do was pick his head up and play Le Fee in and it would’ve been 2-0 but he overhit a much harder pass to Brobbey and the move broke down.

Think we will see the best of him next season.

Appears to have bulked up a bit over the break and had his best game by far. Its what we have been waiting for, absolute star in the making.

Never really understood the criticsim of him to be honest. First season in the PL so he's bound to have some off moments, had a bad injury and will only get better. With him, Sadiki and Xhaka in there we win most midfield battles.

up to 70 minutes was in with a shout for MOTM. 2 poor slack passes in behind for Brobbey and not quite strong enough with Udogie breathing down his neck for the 1 v 1.

What an engine the lad has, absolutely vital in our ability to shepherd teams where we want them out of possession. Massive future.

I think there is a big bond now between him and Sadiki, hence the shaved heads.

That has help raise Diaara's work load and looked much fitter.
Both played well yesterday. Long may it continue and can only get better......
