Signing of the season second place

Xhaka obviously tops but there's so many running close for second mukiele, alderete, reinildo, sadiki, brobbey. I'd go brobbey because we are just not the same side without him
Incredible recruitment tho and diarra will be a different player next season and is coming on strong as is talbi

I think you're probably right with brobbey. Mad that we may not have ever seen him had Guiu not gone back to Chelsea.

The others are all on par for me.

Roefs #2 as said before.

Mad how well they did with almost every transfer

You have to add Reinaldo to this. He was on a free. Let that sink in!

Yeah quality player but for me he falls into same category as talbi very good signing but them other 5 are simply outstanding

Roefs had won us a lot of points this season

Mukiele probably the best defender over seen for us and mentality wise up there with xhaka

Sadiki this kids going to the very top

Alderete rolls Royce

Brobbey my favourite signing love the fucka defenders must look at the starting line up and say fuck in for a battle today and scary thing is a don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface how good he can be

We were in for him before guiu came over discussed terms he knocked us back once guiu went back we went back in and got it over there line

Aye, a liverpool one ;-)
Marc Guiu
This!

Imagine, if a player, who has only played 235 mins of football for Chelsea this season (thats an average of 7.3mins per game over 32 they've played so far) wasnt recalled to this parent club ... we'd hav never signed BB

Chelsea must be kicking themselves for recalling Guiu when Big Brian Brobbey was available from Ajax

We classing Le Fee as new signing too? What a window that was. It literally took us 1 window to fly past the Saudis

Talbi has earned us a ridiculous number of points for someone who's been in and out of the side and been away with AFCON. In two or three years time I'd not be surprised if he's the pick of the bunch.

The signing of Xhaka was absolutely astonishing. A top European midfielder and the best player we’ve signed in the modern era. What he brings in terms of ability and quality is obvious but the less tangible stuff such as leadership, positional play, experience in taking time out of the game at the right moment and winning fouls is the best we’ve ever seen.

Then there’s Roefs, Sadiki, Mukiele, Reinildo, Alderete, Le Fee and Brobbey who are superb footballers. Some of them, already, could be genuine contenders for an all time Sunderland XI.

An astonishing summer of recruitment. Had we picked up even one win during that five game AFCON period around Christmas and New Year, we could be genuinely and realistically talking about a Champions League push now.
