Agree with this. I said right from the start that Rob Mason should have picked the most important historical figures then let us vote on about 6 for the rest. We can't miss out some of the biggest club legends ever in favour of defoe and Scott!

Even Defoe, Reid etc could have come later with the earlier historical figures coming first

The club's own founder not even selected FFS, amongst several other ridiculous decisions.
A complete lack of appreciation for those legends from the early days is disgraceful really.
The likes of Defoe (who only a few years ago ended up leaving us in the shit when he decided to pack it in a few weeks after re-joining) and Jill Scott getting in is laughable.
The club should never have opened it up to a public vote and/or should have asked someone like Rob Mason for an educated view on it instead.
That said, I don't recall seeing Defoe or Reid on the list to name but two, so not sure how they've managed to get in. Surely they wouldn't have had enough "other" selections to get in when most will have just selected from the initial list of options?
