SAFC - Fan Ban & Ticket Cancellations

Iam at loss with this. We sit in South stand its a joke around us the seat next to us only been used a few times for the big games

Suspect this is the start of home ID checks.

I’ve heard of 3 others who’ve endured ID checks this afternoon.

They’ve blocked all the season tickets I bought for some of the loyalist fans I’ve known.
Weve had a great season but news like this leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth. Im a massive safc but not in your league for the hours and things you have done to help below fans. The club really need to listen to the fans here as this a travesty to lose fams like this. These were our backbone during the shit. Very very disappointed with how this is panning out and thats using nice words as im actually angry as hell. This isn't right and it needs addressing asap

I agree 100% mate, I go home and away but not in the same league as him.

Who is going to address it though? Hundreds of pages in and no support at all from any of our so-called fan groups, we are no weeks down the line and still nothing.

A vote of no confidence is coming up for them I would say.

Someone high up better be listening. We are flying, they've do e great great things for our club. Let's not lose the lads and lasses who backed us during all the shite on the way man. Its such an easy solution but nothing is being done. They are aware by all accounts so if they dont address it sharpish well they are twats whoever is making these decisions. Such am easy thing to fix but they go down harder instead of dealing with it. Honestly ban me if they complain but absolute 2 faced twats how they've dealt with this. Sorry

Not sure if related (am one of the 65) but I am away for today’s game so transferred my ticket to a mate’s son and got a confirmation email. Yesterday I got an email saying it was cancelled and he told me this morning he couldn’t download it, he had to go to ticket office to get a replacement. Will need to clarify why when I get back as never had that before but timing is a bit suspicious.
Funny you say that but I had issues last game (and I wasn't 1 of the 65) where it flashed red, but the 2 lads in front of me also had issues. Steward has to manually click turnstile over to let us in,

The again today, went to scan in but flashed up red. Had to go to T/O, 15 mins before KO. I'd already spoken to the T/O Manager via email who couldnt work out why it was blocked. After 15 mins of queuing (yes im missed KO). T/O manager old the lassie to print one for today, which let me in

Agree completely mate

Every single area of the club currently is top notch!!

Lets wait, before long we will get the generic mail form RAWA informing us of their periodic tea and biscuits with the club and any questions we wanna ask....
Whats going on @Becs this is now past a joke

Whilst in the pub yesterday, a friend told me how the club had ripped their family off earlier this season.

They had an elderly relative (over 65) who wasn’t able to go to a home game and they wanted to give their ticket to their grandson (next generation of Sunderland fans) 10 year old. They tried to forward the ticket using the official club channels, however as the ticket needs to be forwarded “like for like” it wouldn’t allow it. They went to the ticket office and they said they couldn’t just give their lad the ticket as going in on an over 65 ticket as a 10 year old would constitute fraud, however what they could do was to “upgrade the ticket to an adult and pay the additional £14” My friend paid the additional £14 reluctantly and are of the opinion that the club left them with no alternative due to their processes. It was either that or have their friends grandson miss out on attending a game and the hope that they have that he gets the footballing bug and becomes a lifelong SAFC fan.

I'll collate the comments on here and send them to RAWA later on.

One of the cancelled season ticket holders spoke to me about it in the pub before the match yesterday. He'd been to the ticket office to try and speak to the manager about it, but the ticket office manager doesn't work on matchdays!
The ticket office manager doesn’t work on Matchdays😂😂 I would say that’s unbelievable, but it perfectly falls in line with the TO shitshow.

Just wow, have I understood this right a 10 year old can’t go in on an over 65 ticket as it would constitute fraud, even though the over 65 tickets are about twice the price of a u14 ticket😳

You can however go in on an adult ticket (…..and that’s not fraud???) but you have to pay an additional price of £14 for the privilege of it not being considered “fraud”.
