70-80 million plus

then the club would be hard pressed to keep him, that kind of money is a lot to pass up for a keeper.

In a perfect world we could keep our better players and build on them, but as a newly promoted team, we will lose the better players to bigger clubs at some point, the trick is to sell at the peak that we can get for them and invest to improve the squad.

Is our scouting network up to the task or was the summer a fluke?

Either way I am going to enjoy them while we have these players, been a long time coming to have so many likeable lads in the squad.
 
Had very little to do. Thought he should have caught the ball at one point and just knocked it over.

He made a few good saves. Had it been Ellborg, I honestly don't think anyone would have said anything. Great keeper though, fantastic signing.

He had the ball at his feet plenty, and begins our attacks superbly.

If a club is prepared to pay that kind of money, you’d have to assume they’d also be willing to offer him a salary we could only dream of paying. As long as we get a crazy fee for him, good luck to the lad.

He is an elite keeper surely you can see his class?

It's not just about his shot stopping. It's the calmness at the back with the ball at his feet. Starts off our attacks.

I think this is Ellborgs biggest weakness at the moment

i just don't see any world where we turn down circa 50m for a goalkeeper. which is what I think will be on the table come the summer

Biggest compliment I’ll give him is he plays like an experienced pro.

He plays miles beyond his years. His calmness and composure. Not sure I’ve ever seen him flustered.

Will go on to be one of the best there is.

I reckon it'll be in that range maybe with a few add-ons to 60m.

Depends where he'd wanna go. Chelsea seem keen but that's a bit of a basket case as much as he'll get a pretty substantial bump in money.

If he did have another season here and improved again he could have some of the very big boys in Europe in for him.

Genuinely think he's worth more than that to us. As we've seen before a good keeper is worth so many points a season
