Luke O'Nien

Earlier in the season I think Le Bris would have put Nordi in the middle and Hume right because he didn't think O'Nien could do it, or at least wasn't quite at the level. Due to injuries etc when he was forced to play him at Leeds and then Newcastle he now is comfortable to put him in the middle because he thought he's solid and the threat of Nordi down the wing from full back would be more advantageous on the day.

I always thought, maybe hoped that O'Nien would be one of those who would just find a way to compete at any level he was thrust into, because of his mindset. He has! 3 wins from 3 starts with him in the team, in the league.

Very good today. Noticed a few times when he eased a spurs player away so that Alderete had more time to clear. Did the same at the other end as well, helping make space for Mukieles header in the first half.

Spot on mare, Regis obviously trusts Nordi more than Hume, and then trusts Onien more at centre half instead of putting Nordi there, and Hume at RB

It's a good problem to have like. I think Hume is proper steady away player at the level btw, like our John O'Shea of the Man Utd days. But as always, Le Briis picks the team/formation for what he thinks will get it done.
