Drinking in Sunderland City Centre - restored

Funny that because I was in there yesterday evening and it was all the locals that were in.

Do you say this sentence to your mates much like? 😄 Loads on here will type differently to how they speak in real life, I know I do, it looks like you do too.

That’s funny because when we were in the Gardeners yesterday there was over 20 lads who used to drink in Lansdowne who vowed they would not go back in while that idiot was in charge. In fact it’s now called Lansdowne corner in the Gardeners so the locals you must know are different to us lads who have drank there for last 20 years or more

Was in Keel Tavern pre match. The single file queuing to the right of the bar was ridiculous so just joined the more sensible melee to the left and got served in a couple of minutes. The bar staff are class like.

Spot on mate, I was a regular in Lansdowne and I also know who @Kingdom Bhoy is in “real life “ and have never once seen him in Lansdowne so I’m fairly sure he wouldn’t know who the Lansdowne regulars are!

Us too
Queue was odd . We moved into centre which looked busy but its usually 1 at bar getting a round and 4 mates behind them .we got served in about 3 minutes .
 
Ivy pre match. Was quiet when I got in at 1120, but busy by the time we left.
Post match Canny Lad. It was busy, but not as bad as usual.
The Peacock. Quiet, but it was about 1830. Probably 40 odd people in.
3 Stories. Just before 1900. Almost all the seats taken downstairs. We were served very quickly.

All in all, much quieter than a Saturday post match, but I prefer it like that tbh.
