Did we deserve to win

Spurs were very poor today all over the pitch. Whether we’d won by just one or more than one goal, we were, by far, much better than Spurs overall. Now it’s about making the recent wins a gathering momentum for a strong finish, wherever that takes us to in terms of European qualifications.

They were okay for 15 mins and nowt much else after that - when I say okay, I mean not quite Igor Tudor levels of shit.

We had the better chances overall and it was mainly the final ball that let us down.

Every time they got into a decent area, they’d either throw themselves to the ground or overhit a cross for a goal kick.

They were shocking. Not quite as bad as Burnley, but pretty bad.

I’d say they were as bad as Newcastle were up here.

Not watched it as away (I know I know)

But a fair few spurs fans who are here said we didn’t deserve it

So 1) did we deserve it
2) are they talking Bollocks
3) they being bitter ?
Yes, we did deserve it. But to confirm the BBC report on the match was unequivocal that it was us that deserved. Spurs seemed more bothered about trying to get us booked than winning.

As a wise man once said (me dad) if you don’t score goals you don’t win football matches.
Today, we scored one, they scored none.

So yes we deserved to win
Does that technically apply if the opposition, like Woltemackem, does it for you?

We thoroughly deserved to win, in fairness second half we could have scored a couple more. Onward and upwards 😊
