Today - Luke plays 90 mins as we move a point away from europe in the premier league
I agree with this but the Pen that was ruled out today he’s sliding in when he doesn’t have to. Love the lad. Hope he stays and becomes a coach. Do I want him in the starting 11 hmmm not really.I said before the game, seeing him on the team sheet still worries me, even though his track record at proving doubters wrong is absolutely stellar.
Love the like to bits. Same as a few others in this squad and some who’ve since departed. We’ve been spoiled in recent years with respect to the characters we’ve signed
People were writing him off in the match thread before the game, these dickheads will never learn.Imagine someone saying then we're going to have O'Nien starting at centre back away to Newcastle and home to Spurs and we'd win both games.![]()
Nee way would his detractors be intelligent enough to type 'could have', man!O’nien criticism is 90% could haves and might haves. “He could have given away a penalty” “could have been sent off” etc.
But these things ain’t happening![]()
Smiles a lot and saves labradorsShould be fixing the issues in the ticket office rather than be on the pitch iirc there mate
It should be a movie and would be better than that Goal movie shite the mags had years ago, especially when he's lifting the Champions League trophy in 2028 after 10 years serviceIt’s going to be an amazing autobiography.
Just imagine if we make Europe and he's still around next season.Imagine someone saying then we're going to have O'Nien starting at centre back away to Newcastle and home to Spurs and we'd win both games.![]()
He might make it one dayHe’s come a long way from changing the seats in the south stand
It’s insane, he’s everything you want in a professional football player. As big a fan as I am of him I thought this was one step too far for him, I thought it in the championship also yet he keeps proving me wrong.Imagine someone saying then we're going to have O'Nien starting at centre back away to Newcastle and home to Spurs and we'd win both games.![]()
He's the definition of what we like as a player here and yet he still gets pelters from some. Is he playing above his level now? Probably and he probably knows that himself but he works his arse off. He wouldn't still be here if he didn't mean something to the team and staff. Love the lad, he's done tremendous for us. What more could you ask of a player.Love him me like, shoving the hate and abuse he's had on here from a few brainless morons back down their throats.
Great summation mate, he keeps proving the doubters wrong again and again. He's the definition of what we like as a player here and yet he still gets pelters from some. Is he playing above his level now? Probably and he probably knows that himself but he works his arse off. He wouldn't still be here if he didn't mean something to the team and staff.
