Could Leicester go bust?

If Pompey and Leicester go down to league 1 that would be decent (nothing against leicester, it would just be good if another team “did a Sunderland”)

Also… fingers crossed for spurs going down and it could be an interesting one

Jamie Vardy still on the payroll?…lol…Going bust or sell up are there options son doesn’t want to put a penny into LCF
His team Cremonese in Serie A have only 1 win in last 18 since December 7th and fighting relegation as only out of it on GD, though played 1 more game than Lecce in 18th. He could be relegated 2 seasons in a row.

All a bit depressing really in terms of being an aspirational football club.

They've the Icarus of football. A warning to anyone else with lofty ambitions. Don't dare take our Champions League revenues. You've had your moment in the sun now we burn your wings.

Don't get me wrong I won't shed a tear for them, they only won the title because everyone else had a year off. Spurs finished 2nd didn't they? But it just shows you can even win the title and still not be allowed in the club. You could make a case for Man Utd being as equally mismanaged over the same period yet here they are still likely Champions League qualifiers.

That goal conceded has all the signs of a relegated club.

At least they have some amazing memories, a title and an FA Cup. Having basically won nowt beforehand.

Should change their name back to Leicester Fosse and start again.

Hopefully we’re having a look at the fatawu lad again as we seem to be interested in.
I’m sure he’s not the issue, and I know he’s scored a few for them, but should we be looking at a player who’s probably going to get relegated to league one?

I’m not sure he’s what we need

We went through the same thing remember and had 4 years in league 1. We can smile maybe but shouldn’t be laughing it’s awful for the fans and the mismanagement of our club is so recent it’s still raw. We’ve had a good few years but we aren’t far away from going down and struggling keep grounded everyone.
I haven’t got a clue who you really support (possibly the Mags) but it’s as sure as shit not Sunderland.

Nah spurs somehow managed to come 3rd in that 2 horse race.

The ‘big clubs’ quickly changed the rules and made sure they got more money once Leicester won the league, sure it was something to do with overseas rights where they got more.

United and Spurs are both lucky that the promoted teams were as poor as they were last year. They would have both went down this season if they did it again.

Fortune for United they didn't but Spurs? I think they will scrape it, especially with them being a bit of a bogey team for us, their game tomorrow could not come at a better time, but they must be shitting themselves for next year surely.

Cant help but have a soft spot for Leicester. Loved watching them win the league. They were excellent to watch for a couple seasons. Watching them stuff Newcastle 5 nowt while I was in Dussledorf for Octoberfest was one of my favourite ever days out haha.
Loads more teams id rather see struggle than Leicester.

Believe it or not Winks has 10 full caps for England. Must be one of the worst England players ever.
He’s one of those players that if he came through at Sunderland or Wolves he’s not have made more than a handful of games but he was at a so called big club so slowly falls down the league. Loads do it at Liverpool or Man Utd too.

100% correct foldingstars

They’re down now imo.

Portsmouth will be right up for it and will beat them comfortably at home.

Interesting article, if only for their description of Salmon Pants.
The management and directors made some poor decisions after they won the title.

For me it would be disappointing if they did go bust especially after losing the main man in such tragic circumstances.

Let's hope they can pull it round as they were an inspirational tale for everyone outside the big 6
