They're in big trouble

Noem have laid of 90% of the staff in Saudiland, that was the biggest vanity project PIF have on the go
I think the richest clerb in the world might be be in for a shock in the next couple of years
That NEOM’s been massively scaled back due to the cost. They’ve literally got 60 skyscrapers standing empty in Riyadh’s financial area alone, because they couldn’t compete with the UAE to entice westerners over to work. That was the whole point of the NEOM project, and even that’s way behind and could potentially cause a financial crisis. The Mags are small potatoes in the grand scheme of things.

It is quite mind boggling how some of them don't realise this. Was talking to a neighbour the other week, I honestly could not believe what I was hearing. Going on about the club being to nice/polite and needing to just do what Chelsea and City appear to do blah, blah. Going on about a 100,000 seater stadium again, WTAF. Zero clue about the bigger geo-political situation whatsoever.

Whole ME has scaled back day rates / packages for Expats. Mega projects, like Qatar Energy LNG, basically filling roles with Indians. Going for cheap and accepting schedule slippages.

This is the point so many choose to miss / decide to ignore.
PIF could have chosen to spend £1 Billion, and have foundations dug for the new Leazes Park stadium. They didn’t because they chose not to.

Their fans will always have a meltdown if they start to drop down the table so it could get interesting if they're downgrading the squad....
But I can't help but think they always land on their feet after a season or so. Even when they've gone down theyve come straight back up.
I don't think they'd cope with going through the worst spell in their history like us. Look.at the protests at Ashley's prem stability years.

If you cant be arsed to read to the whole lots. Ive asked AI to summarize to make it simpler to read for you all. lol AI is incredible.

Keith Wyness is saying that Newcastle United could be heading into problems, and fans should not ignore it.
His warning is linked to new developments involving PIF, the Saudi group that owns most of the club.
The main concern is money and rules, not football on the pitch.
In simple terms, he believes:
  • Newcastle can’t spend as freely as people expected
  • The club is under financial and regulatory pressure
  • Premier League rules (PSR / FFP) may limit transfers and wages
  • PIF’s ownership makes the club more closely watched by regulators
  • Long‑term plans may need to slow down or change
Because of this, Newcastle might:
  • struggle to compete financially with the biggest clubs,
  • have smaller transfer budgets,
  • and face a tougher period ahead unless they adjust their strategy.
So when Wyness says “big trouble”, he doesn’t mean collapse —
he means growth will be harder, slower, and more restricted than fans hoped.
If you CBA to read this,

Newcastle owners say they're fucked

He appears, even on here, to split opinion. Either he is overrated by Mags and is actually shite or he is leaving as the big clubs want him and Newcastle can do nowt about it. Big clubs won’t be interested in buying shite.
My opinion is he is good. Not great and not shite. Will probably improve with better players around him, as most do, and Newcastle will probably double their money.

True and happens everywhere.
Miley is very good though.

All four walk into your squad. First 3 play. IMO of course.
As much as I rate Tonali and Gordon as players, I wouldn’t want them at my club as they seem poisonous, personality wise.
